We cannot thank the Chef and our server Stephanie enough! We came in from sunrise fishing and brought our filets in for the chef to prepare! This was an incredible experience. Our server Stephanie was literally the best we had our entire time at Destin. She was happy, helpful and excited for us experiencing all this for the first time. The chef prepared our filets 5 different ways! All the types were amazing but their Dewey special seasoning was fantastic. This entire experience came with so many sides (coleslaw, hushpuppies, corn and fries) At the end we got our bill and paid a whopping 40 bucks for two people and 5 filets. I recommend this place and that you bring in whatever you catch in the Bay! Thank you to our server and the cook again for making this a fantastic memory!

Our boat captain recommended this restaurant, and we were so grateful she did! Amazing food, fast and friendly service. Will definitely eat here again before we leave town in 4 days...and highly recommend it if you want to get today's fresh catch, or any other seafood meal.

I ordered the grilled grouper , the new potatoes were not cooked completely, I sent them back and they came back still under cooked . The bathrooms were in terrible condition , it was dirty , and the door would not close . Every time we come here from Alabama we come to Dewey’s to eat but this time it was very very disappointing. Food quality was poor at best . When it costs $25 for an entree the food should be acceptable . Do better Dewey’s .

I've been here many times over the years, and it is always a pleasure to return to. The food was pretty good this time and the service was phenomenal, as always. I really enjoyed the buffalo shrimp but the mahi-mahi was just okay in my opinion. I will definitely return when I come back to town.Parking: Parking can be a challenge when it gets busy and the driveway really could use some backfill to eliminate some of the potholes.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for the children to eat on a pier over the water.
I guess this place is known for their shrimp entrees. Wish I had been aware of that before I ordered the grilled snapper dinner. Fish was over cooked, very thin, and had no flavor. Potatoes also had zero flavor too. You know it’s bad when the only really decent thing on your plate is the hush puppies. Wasn’t impressed with the gumbo either. Forewarning, stick to the shrimp folks. Not happy at all with the $40 I spent here. Lots of regrets. I had the exact same experience with my grilled fish basket as TheDoomerBoomer did and others.

The location is top notch & views are beautiful. We sat in the covered deck area, but the plastic is so dirty, you can’t see out very well.Food was a disappointment. I got the grilled scallops & they really lacked flavor. The half ear of corn was way overcooked, I didn’t want to finish it. 2 little red potatoes & cole slaw were okay. My husband got the fried scallop basket & said the same, it just didn’t have much taste. For $60+ after tax & tip we expected a lot more & probably wouldn’t go back as there are so many seafood options in the area.Our kids seemed happy with chicken tender baskets. Staff was very friendly!
