I've never heard of Mellow Mushroom but my daughter-in-law told me she grew up eating it in Orlando. So glad they had vegan options. Really enjoyed this pizza. Crust had a nice chew to it. Sauce was good with a nice tang. The vegan cheese was plentiful and creamy. Great toppings. We also ordered some soft pretzels. They were tasty but could Benn baked a little more. The kids seemed to enjoy their gluten free cheese pizza.

I would give zero stars if I could. Where do I even start? First, I hope this place closes down. By far the WORST service and experience in my 37 years of living. The female bartender with the bright red lipstick and messy bun... thanks for glancing at us multiple times as we stood up front waiting to be sat for almost 10 min. My party wanted to leave and go across the street but I wanted pizza. Big mistake. Not only did she make eye contact multiple times and not help, but so did a waitress with dark curly hair. How uncomfortable? And then Hearing how rude the bartender was speaking to other guests, and the glances at us instead of helping us should've been an inclining of what crap was to come. 48 min for our food. Mind you, there was us and only 3 other tables in the whole place. Yikes. Then, the wrong toppings were all over my pizza. The server, didn't care. Still charged me. Just awful experience. No wonder there were only a handful of customers here. This place needs better management, and staff that actually give a crap about their job, or if she's that miserable she needs a different one. I'm happy that I don't treat my guests this way at my establishment. That's now how you do business. Don't come here

The service was okay, but the food quality for the price was awful. I paid extra to add chicken for maybe 2 chicken strips worth and they were chopped into such small pieces it looked like garnish, not meat. The ingredients were sub-par... My husband and I could have gone to Hungry Howie's for a quarter of the price and got a better pizza. For the price, we could have went for a nice dinner to hibachi and sushi. I worked at a Mellow Mushroom in college and know what the quality of the food is supposed to look and taste like. We are locals and will not be returning to or recommending this location.

Had the most incredible server tonight at dinner named Alexis! Thank you for the excellent service and patience with our young folks with us. Pizza was delicious as usual. Food came out prompt, Alexis checked in frequently to make sure we had what needed. Highly encourage to ask for her if pop in for food.

Ordered online due to having the best pizza from Mellow Mushroom in Lexington. When we arrived to pick it up, noticed ta mistake in the order. They quickly corrected the mistake and provided wonderful service.Would recommend trying.

We went at 4pm. The restaurant had another couple as customers and us. When we walked in there were five employees milling about the dining room. A lady behind the bar look up, saw us and then went back to whatever she was doing. After a short while she walked over and greeted us. A young man said right this way and attempted to seat us. His first option he offered were in booths that were elevated six inches off the floor (on a platform). We are both in our 60’s and my wife uses a walker. We said that option was no good. He then offered us a picnic table. We were both thinking how clueless can you be? We asked if we could have a booth/chair combo (they had a row of them). He said that section was closed. Now remember this is an empty restaurant. We then asked if we could have a regular booth (the other couple was in one). He looked at us and replied, I’ll have to ask the manager and took off. After a minute he came back and said we could. Once seated our server came over to take our drink order. I asked if we could have a hot tea(it was chilly outside). He looked at me like I was speaking Latin. I asked you do have tea don’t you and he said yes sir, sweet and unsweet. I said what about hot tea and he said yeah it’s all hot………he took our order and the food was good. He never came by to check drinks. The excuse of being short staffed doesn’t wash. They had more than enough, especially with how uncrowded it was. When we left, the hostess was sitting in a stool behind the counter with her propped on the counter while playing on her phone. Poor training and zero management.
Delicious pizza! Gal taking to-go-orders was very personable and helped me with my coupon. People in my party enjoyed their calzones.

Dismal service. I appreciate the manager trying to correct the behavior and attitude of our waiter, but it was a really terrible experience.EDIT: Hailey, thank you for writing back. We appreciate that you take feedback seriously, and we admire you for the response. Although as a family, we had a bad experience, we know that this experience had a lot to do with the one individual who acted in such poor taste. In turn, we know that it can also take one person to change a negative into a positive and make things right. You worked very hard to make things right again. Restaurants that cater to vegans and vegetarians in the area are few and far between, MM is one of them, and we were pleased with our past experiences at the Pensacola location. It was a shame that we had a such a poor experience at the Destin location. Your response and remembering your sincere regret and kindness yesterday has caused me to alter my review from one to three stars. Thank you for working hard and caring to making a difference.

The worst service I've had in awhile. So first it took forever to get just the basics out drinks, appetizers etc. Then they took an hour to get the pizza out. The pizza was completely wrong and didn't even try to fix it. And it was my birthday so i was really looking forward to coming out here. Never coming back again

Great place! The asthetic was very hippy and pleasing. The menu was even super pretty, I loved the art work. The food was great too! I had the magic mushroom soup and the steak and cheese calzone ? Super tasty and you could tell the calzone was handmade. I'd love to visit again and try more!

I certainly wasn’t expecting to have some of the best pizza I have EVER had here, but that’s what I experienced on my visit. There are too many options to mention but I will highlight that vegan options here are delicious, which is hard to admit for a carnivore ??. The staff was friendly and attentive, absolutely nothing negative to say. The cost is a little more than the standard pizza places, but size and quality far outweigh cost here. The pizza pies we received were HUGE, we ended up taking home almost an entire pizza. We ordered 2 large pizzas, as half and half options to try several different flavors and all were good.
