We were not staying at the hotel but visited the restaurant for a special night out, based on the reviews. The GPS doesn't lead to the restaurant and the parking situation if you're not a hotel guest is confusing. The pappardelle was wildly bad which will be a disappointment to vegetarians or plant-based people since it was the only meatless entree on the menu. The noodles were mushy and overcooked, and the dish was seasonless except for salt - way, way too much salt. It was bland, flavorless, and worse than anything on the Olive Garden menu. $32 for that pasta should be a crime. My partner got a fish dish with risotto, and he said that it was good, but the portion size vs price was questionable. The appetizers, oysters and crispy cauliflower, were both phenomenal and the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. The service was also good for the majority of the meal until a large group came and all of the staff got busy, so it took a long time to get the bill or get anyone's attention when we were both ready to go. It was fine for a one night experience, but we don't feel a need to come back.

Valentine's Day experience was not worth the money at all. The regular menu is better. If you can't guarantee consistency and quality, you shouldn't do a specialty menu.

Our service was great, Jennifer was very accommodating and friendly. Food was amazing. My husband had yellow tail with jalapeño and pork belly appetizers. OMG, so good. I had chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots. ? It was my birthday weekend so the restaurant presented us with a beautiful dessert. ?

Made a reservation for brunch to check out the restaurant and hotel. We usually stay at the Hilton San Destin and thought this might be a future hotel for us. Sat in the restaurant zero acknowledgement by staff. Buffet only and very limited options. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant but we did this one- and no one noticed.

Food, when received after an hour and a half of waiting for it in a lightly busy restaurant, was good. However, for the price, the service was scattered and unpleasant. Do not recommend due to the experience and unmet expectations. Third try here and no better. The hotel is lovely but they can't figure out the restaurant.

BEST CHRISTMAS BRUNCH EVER! Overall they SLEIGHED (pun intended)! From the service to the menu selection to the atmosphere, the setting was intimate & festive. Riley was an outstanding host, as she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Ms.Donna (our server) was nothing short of attentive & kind. The buffet options were not overwhelming and the non-pork options were greatly appreciated. The chicken sausage was delish and the fresh fruit was on point; and you can't go wrong with a "made to order" eggs station. The "bow on this gift" was the restaurant offered complimentary valet parking for restaurant guests, as well as self parking. This will absolutely be the new Christmas morning tradition when we are in town for the holidays! Highly recommend!

Celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary at Primrose was perfect!! A genuine 5-star dining experience, unequivocally the best! Primrose unquestionably boasts the finest sushi in the area, and the chef's 2024 Best in Destin nomination is well-deserved, given the truly outstanding food!
This is a beautiful restaurant with great service. Unfortunately, the Christmas Day buffet was super disappointing. It was nearly all breakfast foods, turkey and ham but no appropriate sides, and just cupcakes for dessert. We weren't expecting anything extravagant, but for the price, we expected a little more variety. Honestly, we could have had a more delicious meal at Waffle House.
Excellent food. I had the chicken and it was exactly how chicken with mashed potatoes should taste, yet refined at the same time. Husband had shrimp and grits, said they may have been the best he's ever had.

Terrible communication from the establishment. Because once I arrived there & I had reservations and even received a check up reservation text from Primrose. I get there & the place was close and they sent me the check in reservation text a day before my dinner date. So unfortunately there were no Primrose employees there and we had to sit and the other restaurant & order from the menu. Terrible experience and the team from the other restaurant did their best to accommodate us.

We thought we were coming for the Thanksgiving buffet but somehow found out it had ended at 5 and our reservation was for 6. As a result, we were SO disappointed in food selection expected and spent a lot more than we anticipated.

The thanksgiving dinner was simply not well executed. Good was okay but the ambiance was just slightly better than a cafeteria. Cut the price in half and it may have been worth it.
