Just an overall horrible experience with the wait staff. Inept. Came to the table to take order for drinks. We asked to have more time with the menu before deciding on our drink order. When he returned we were ready to order both dinner and our drinks and did so. My daughter not being a seafood person ordered a salad and some wings from the starters menu. Wife and i ordered scallops and salmon. Salad comes out. Wings come out. 40+ minutes pass, we wave the waiter back over. Ask about our entrees. “What entrees? I didn’t hear you order entrees.” This is a joke right! Just bring me the bill, i’m not starting over after spending an hour in this restaurant now. He tells me he accepts full responsibility and will talk with the manager about discounting the bill. I say great, talk with the manager and send them over here. 10+ more minutes pass and not the manager but “I’m Ian, the assistant general manager and bartender. I came over to hear your side.” His words not mine but regardless. He gave me a bill with the full price of my kids salad and wings and my glass of wine (heard that part of the order!) and I paid it. Maybe i shouldnt have paid it, fairness, it is exactly what was consumed by my family, a point that Ian was kind enough to make for me. Horrible service. Sadly, the place will survive because location and ambiance were great and halfway upscale restaurants seem to be slim pickins in Destin.Sort by newest reviews rather than relevant. Recent feedback on Soleil not so good.

Problems, problems. A really nice beachfront location, menu looked good, nice atmosphere. Alas, kitchen and bar organization was not even disorganized, it was completely absent. After waiting over an hour for our drinks to turn up - two standard cocktails and a bottle of beer - we left. All we saw was some pretty average French onion soup, and literally nothing else. We were not the only patrons who had this issue, and saw another couple follow us over the road to another restaurant. No idea what is going on here, but whatever it is needs fixing and fixing fast, so we really can’t give any positive feedback. We will look for positive reviews and maybe try again in a couple of years.

Arrived to a near empty restaurant. One table of a family of 8 seated. We had to wait over 5 minutes to be seated. No one waited on us for another 5-10 minutes. Then took our drink order, 3 in my party and took over 15 minutes to bring out simple cocktails. We order the Wonton appetizer and it took almost 30 minutes to arrive. It went like this for about 2 hours. There seemed to be plenty of waitstaff, but would disappear for long periods of time. The wonderful view of the beach and ocean is by far overshadowed by poor service and mediocre food at expensive prices. New owner needs to pay close attention if they want to stay in business.

New chef, new menu, and we love it!! So many good options to choose from compared to the old menu. The paella was the best we've had in town, full of protein and authentic flavor. It was so good that we came back the following weekend. The crispy calamari, crab cake, and dumplings were also very good. The wait is a little bit too long, but it’s worth it.

This place was nice inside, super cute, staff was friendly. But there were only 4-5 other full tables besides our own, and our food took 90 minutes to come out after we ordered. The service was super slow, we were there 3 hours.The French onion soup was great. Crab cake was really bready and sat on the stomach wrong. Cocktails looked great.

We recently had a 75 person rehearsal dinner at Soleil. It was absolutely beautiful thanks to Staci, Dylan, and the entire Soleil staff. The food was delicious, the view was gorgeous, Glenn, the vocalist was amazing, and the staff were wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical and memorable night! Thank you, Soleil! Had a great dinner here, delicious food and great service. I ate the scallops which were excellent..very well cooked and great orzo side. The service was very attentive and friendly. Restaunt is nice with big windows, but it was dark when we were there so don't know how the view was. Would definitely go again!

Beautiful restaurant, attendant staff, delicious food. We had the charcuterie board, salmon, scallops, and filet. It was our anniversary and a birthday and they surprised us with a cute little dessert message. Definitely would come back.
