Just spent the evening catching up with old friends, this place was amazing. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! Lots of choices of different flavors. The staff were able to help us in giving information on all the cuisine and answer questions.Our kids had their first Indian cuisine experience and the staff were able to explain to them what they may like, and were very friendly about it.If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Had dinner here recently. Wife enjoyed her mango lassi; I had a Taj Mahal. Pappadams were served with cilantro-mint chutney but not tamarind sauce. Kuchumber was good but over lemony with a slight floral flavor. We had CTM, saag paneer, and garlic naan, medium spice. The naan was dry and flaky, not really to our liking. Neither the CTM nor the SP were at all spicy. Both dishes were slightly underseasoned. The chicken was tender and delicious, not like rubbery breast that is too common. Service was excellent; the owner engaged us and ensured that our needs were met.

Never order a South Indian dish here!!! No matter what South Indian dish you order they will give you Punjabi cuisine. If you are a Naan lover, this is your place. No taste! I will never return here or recommend this for any South Indian dishes.

Below average tasting Indian food. Drinking water had a weird taste as well.
Food was amazingly delicious the service was impeccable and the ambience was perfect! We came in on a slower winter evening and we were not disappointed. You can't leave without trying the homemade mango ice cream or at least get it to go you will not regret it!

The Taste of India in Destin Florida was a great discovery for New Orleans residents that LOVE Indian food. We really enjoyed all aspects of the meal including the Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala curry. The Nan bread was great especially the Garlic Cheese and Cashew Raisin that we ordered. Service was terrific and the atmosphere helped to complete our excellent evening. Highly recommend the Taste of India for new diners who wish to expand to Indian flavors or for long time fans of excellent Indian cuisine.Vegetarian options: All curries offer vegetables as a primary ingredient without meat along with many other dishes such as Spinach Saag.
