While booking our trip to Destin, I was looking for a nice breakfast place to eat at & I saw this place and saw the name and had to come here because I love pancakes. The service was good. The menu had many options to choose from. I had the chocolate chip pancakes & my husband had the buttermilk pancakes. I had a hot cup of coffee as well. I feel the pancakes were a bit dense. Kind of hard to cut. Also they tasted dry no matter how much syrup I put on it. I was surprised because they look fluffy and easy to cut through. But they weren’t. I wouldn’t eat here again.

Good and fresh omelette, was not a fan of the pancakes. Felt like prices were overpriced but then again this is a tourist destination.

I give the omelet a five the pancakes a 3.5 the toast and frenchtoast a 2The mánager was so rude it ruined the meal for two of us my niece had her meal ruined by how rudely the mánager spoke to her when she came in. Why would anyone hire a skeletally anorexically thin impolite meet and greet manager especially to not thin people at a restaurant? Whom apparently does Not eat nor likes food? We went to The Pancakery for brunch had to make a reservation because there was a 2-hour waiting list because their Specialty Foods are so excellent. It looks to me like this particular high standard chef when he designed the restaurant area was going for hygiene and cleanliness and it's a stark not relaxing nor a very inviting atmosphere. All the hard surfaces reflect sound on very sensitive to sound ears so it was a very unpleasant experience for me. When I turned my ears towards any hard surface all sound was Amplified. Especially the counter where the very hygienically clean stainless steel equipment is. The recipes are incredible on the Specialty Foods but the standard common fair is not really that great. If you go there I would suggest you go during non-peak hours not during spring break when it's very crowded and very noisy or if you sit in a place sit in the middle away from any hard surfaces and away from the counter where it's very loud. I would even suggest that you do take out and select the Specialty Foods but check your order before you pay because they messed up our order four times. . I contacted the pancakery on Facebook got a curt impolite response to my trying to explain our problems and received a short curt nonapologetic response about how rude the front greeting staff was and how loud the restaurant was. the General Rule of thumb if you want repeat business is you begin with an apology and you say how can I make it up to you for that unpleasant experience? Because you do want repeat Business you don't have to love that Patron - But that Patron May pay your next electric bill.I don't blame the rudeness of the staff but to a lack of proper greeting training and poor word choice along with a busy peak tourism Spring break demand. Do not order the common fare it's just standard common not great toast bacon French toast. Order the specialty drinks the Specialty Foods and the coffe. If you're sensitive to noise try take out Check to make sure you get it All before you pay.Vegetarian options: I'm not exactly sure what exactly is vegetarian my sister is a partial vegetarian and she was able to eat something that was there she does not eat red meat she ordered an omelette and it was excellent I ate what was left all of the food was excellent the atmosphere is very Stark

Good breakfast food, but definitely over hyped in my opinion. Service was good, and staff were kind. I was told there would be a 45min wait, but they got me seated in 25min.Drinks I got were. Iced coffee, and PBJ whiskey. The coffee and PBJ Whiskey weren’t anything special. Not bad though don’t get me wrong. Food pictured is. The Breakfast Sampler, Steak Benedicts with toast, AND Bacon Infused Pancakes that were SUPPOSED to come with bacon and eggs. Honestly, though I’m not gonna lie I forgot about it until after I finished eating, and by then I was too full to bother. A lottt of food anyways, not trying to get chunky lol.Kind of pricey for what it is though, not gonna lie. $72 + $10 tip.
