This place is awesome. I ate so many places while in Destin but Waffle House always showed up!! Staff is friendly and their is a lady I think named Julie that makes some good coffee!!

This is a very friendly and clean Waffle House. The joint wasn’t sticky or full of zombies. The waitress was on the ball and she ran circles around the other help. The food was normal Waffle House.

I've heard so much about the Waffle House and honestly was just underwhelmed. Food was pricey for a diner. Service was good but just the whole setup of the place just wasn't what I enjoy. The good was good, just not worth the amount paid, IMO.

I had an amazing time with my partner for our 3 year anniversary! Our waitress was so sweet and made us feel welcomed. I would have loved to give 5 stars but when our waitress went off on a short break the the ladies room the other waitress was talking trash about her while the cook tried to stand up for and her and I thought it was very unsavory.

First time there...ever... our waitress was GREAT!!! Food was breakfast nothing crazy..You know when you see those videos online where there's always a fight or argument in the restaurant.... well it's so true... staff yelling at each other about stolen money and shifts changes.... Craziness in there. But super friendly to us. Food was good..

It was ok until a group of people came in and half were sitting and some still standing and the waitress standing behind the counter with her arms behind her back. She could have cleaned the table and let them sit even if she was not ready to take there order and then took order of the other people whom were with them and still did not sit them..Myself and the people I was with cleaned our table by putting our plates on the already dirty table and told them to take our table as we were about to leave anyway and then I was approached by the lady waiting on us telling me how that table was a different section. Not very professional...

Came in the early morning to get some sober up food. Well to our surprise the sober up food came with a side of throw up on the floor and a Cockroach or two to go along with the dishes. But the food was up to normal standards of the House.

Slow…slow…short order cook can’t keep up nothing was timed correctly so everything was cold well except the hash. Salt shaker cap was loose, that joke never get old I guess?

Just went to eat at this Waffle House after an evening of fishing. They were packed. There was one table that needed cleaning. My husband sat down and moved the dishes and saw a German cockroach on the table. He got up quick and told the waitress. I’m a rude tone she said sir I need you to wait over there. He pointed out there was roach on the table. She said I know and continued to speak to him in a mean tone. He wasn’t sure if she understood what he said and said it again. She said again I know. My husband said a little louder that’s disgusting. There’s roaches in here. No resolve.

My second time eating Waffle House always hearing hype about the place and the first time was okay in Austin, but after eating here at this location it makes me never want to eat at another Waffle House again. First a homeless to us at entrance...The waffle was not like any original waffle this was stale and over cooked thin and all the sides were not to the tasting of what they should taste like in any breakfast place. I wish I could give no stars!
