We dined at the Doral branch as a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids). The server asked us where we were from and we told him we are from out of town. The food was good but when we got the bill, he added the 18% gratuity for large groups. In the menu, it says that this 18% gratuity is added to groups of 6 or more, which is normal for lots of restaurants but when we asked him about it, he was being untruthful and said they add it to groups of more than 4. He even put on our receipt party of 6 to be able to up charge. We just let it go because it was Christmas Day but didn’t feel good having felt cheated. It was just disappointing. We would have given it more stars but did not like being taken advantaged of because they knew we are tourists.

So happy to have accidentally found this restaurant. Came the first time because it was so close to the hotel. The food was so good we came back again for lunch. Fabulous ceviche, great causas, mixed seafood and meat dishes over rice. Would highly recommend and will return if I'm back in the Doral area.Parking: Ample parking around the entire building. Self parking at no cost.

Went for lunch and service was awesome. We were only 2 and had a lot of food with just 2 plates. The ceviche was really good. Do recommend.

The food was good and our server was very attentive. But, the price... Seems expensive for food that is good but not particularly memorable. I've had better at less expensive places. Their menu is diverse and again, it was good food, the prices just surprised me a bit.

I'm so glad we got to try this place during our short stay in Miami. The food was delicious, service was great and quick. I tried the pulpo a la parrilla and it was very tender, the spicy sauce that came with it was perfect. I also had a pineapple and mint cocktail but I forgot the name, it was super yummy as well.

Well, let me tell you. I started reading the reviews, and I said this has to be the place I was in the mood for Peruvian food, nothing else. I walked in, I saw the vibe. I was listening to the music, I said to myself i'm eating here. My my waitress was Martha, what an amazing personality this woman has. She treated me like if I was a royal king. I was in the mood for some Ceviche to start off, Martha recommended the Merkado Central. The classic Ceviche with fried calamari. Amazing taste and presentation, delicious. Then she recommended the Lomo Saltado. In addition she recommended a nice Pinot Noir to go along with the main dish. I can only tell you that my experience was amazing. I highly recommend this place, you would like the food, the ambiance, and a friendly staff.

I can't believe it's our first time in this place! The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered three types of dishes and their signature dessert and I have to say, all of them were fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating when we asked if they could change their music, it was a loud rap music. The service was also great, which made our experience even better. Can't wait to come back again!

This was the only Peruvian restaurant open until 10pm, so we had no choice. The service was great but unfortunately can’t say the same about the food.Ordered tacutacu a lo pobre, and the steak was cold chewy and tasteless, tacutacu tasted good, the chicha was morada was very bitter and the leche de tigre was very citric, like if the lime has been sitting for quite some time. And there were other things to point out but is the first and last time we eat or recommend Mercado 31.

Delicious Peruvian food. My sister had the “Alfredo a la Guacaina con lomo saltado” and it was beyond delicious. I had the “Tallarines verdes con bistec” and it amazing. One of the best Peruvian foods in town. I was really amazed with the variety of new dishes and combinations. Update: I visited Merkado again in June 2023. The service has declined and tip was added to the bill. This is a clear sign when server know getting tip for doing nothing. Food and drinks still amazing. Quality is excellent
