Very slow service, there was only one table and our food took a long time. The focaccia is spectacular, the lasagna is quite good but the pasta carbonara is horrible, salty and has a very strong cheese flavor.

The more I come visit, the more I like this place! I was staying at one of the hotels located in he parking lot of this small gem! I've been there 3 more times since my initial review and they are definitely worthy of a 5 star review! They have amazing specials during the weekdays....happy hour M-F from 3pm -7 pm daily with some great appetizers. They also have a daily lunch menu with some great selections. They have an all day $10.95 Wednesday pizza special....several select pizzas to choose from for dine or or to go!Ladies night is Wednesday evenings for some very good prices cocktails.The serves are also very sweet and attentive! I don't see this place every very crowded and I'm wondering why. There is a very popular Italian food spot located just 1 minute away that is always jam packed.....this place has way better quality artesianl Italian food with FRESH HOMEMADE pasta!I'm completely in love with this little artisanal gem! Don't walk, run to try this place!

I ordered pasta bolognese al dente and the end result was terrible! Pasta was over cooked (like gum texture) and the bolognese sauce mediocre and tasteless. Such a simple dish to prepare yet NO desire from the cook/chef standpoint to cook a nice tasting dish! It’s time to go elsewhere! Sad to see how this restaurant has deteriorated!

It is supposed to be a very good Italian restaurant, but the pizza sauce is watered down and you can’t taste it.I was offered by the waitress ( very nice attitude ) one of their specialty dishes which is the Contadina di Manzo, Pasta served in a bread, the meat had a very disgusting flavor and could have been undercooked.Also, the person eating with me ordered the gnocchi and the plate had 13 gnocchi.I would not recommend it for people that have eaten real Italian food.

Moderato… Great place for Italian food in Doral!I had the chance to eat there a couple of times and both times were great. I rarely go out of my house to have pasta; I think I can make a very decent pasta dish myself at home. However, at Moderato you are going to find an extensive menu with great dishes to share. The portions are generous and well presented.The restaurant is well kept, and the service is outstanding. Last night we had the pleasure of meeting Daniela who took care of our orders, she did a fantastic job of explaining the dishes and was quick to make sure we had everything we always needed.There is plenty of free parking and the prices are fine.
