We were pleasantly surprised to eat here today. We had roast pork, black beans and rice. Very good! I can't believe I have driven by this place so many times and never tried it! You will not be disappointed! Hours are 11-4 weekdays.

The roasted pork with the yellow rice and beans was deliscious.I almost didnt stop because I dont like spicy foods and never really had Latin Food but sure glad I did. I came back but they were closed due to a private party.WELL WORTH YOUR TRIP. They deliver by Doordash too but I live too far for delivery.Thanks.

We just move to winter haven and I was so sad without good Hispanic food, I loved. This place is great, the empanadas with guava are out of this world, delicious. We haven’t try the full menu but we will for sure, approve for a picky 2 year old that eat all her food.

This spot is a hidden gem. The staff is warm and hospitable, the food is top notch and the experience, as a whole, was one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant in all my 39 years. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, did much more than they were obligated to and did it all with a smile. I left here feeling like family.

I have not found a better Cuban anywhere. Everything she makes is excellent; the beans and rice, the shredded chicken, the guava empanadas.. Their hospitality is very warm, they always greet me like an old friend, and they are hands-down my favorite small business in this area to support.

this place doesn't really look like much from the location being in an older plaza with a winndixie but the food is great. i first learned about mirtha's from doordash and when i realized how close they were, i stopped in and ordered the roast pork with red beans and rice with a side of plaintains. the roast pork was super tender and flavorful. i also got a pina colada but wasn't really a fan of it, it wasn't as sweet as i usually like it. i've ordered from here at least once a week since halloween. i've tried almost everything on the menu and you really can't go wrong. super nice people working so it's a win win when you help out a local family. ohhh and they close at 5pm daily to be with their family!
