I was privileged to try his double espresso. It is very, very fresh, with a huge crema, wonderful aroma and complex but smooth and fruity flavor. It’s a blend of Ethiopian yirgacheffe, Columbian and Brazilian beans, roasted to medium at exactly a peak of 450 degrees and then immediately cooled so they do not over cook. Wow! Five stars! How this can be only be $12.99 a pound? The quality and price blew me away. But then there is the shop. It’s a massive art gallery with multiple rooms and every inch covered with art, mostly Picasso prints! I kid you not! You have to explore this place, on one of the only three days a week Mario is open!He has no employees. He has no imitators. He has no helpers. He has his own passion for coffee and art. He has his desire for coffee perfection! He spends most of his week roasting small batches rather than opening the shop.Life is great with a unique passion for perfection! Thanks Mario!

Was jonesing for some coffee on our way north to Honeymoon Island Beach when I spotted this shop. Neat concept here, a coffee shop that has an art 'museum' within. All of their art/prints are for sale as well. They specialize in iced-coffee, which is my drink of choice, and serve it with unique coffee frozen ice cubes to provide a post-drink bonus that I thought was very cool. The best part was not paying Starbucks level prices for our drinks. Stop by and give this very personable owner's shop a try, I think you'll like it!

This is a huge, unique, epic and rarely open monument to passion regarding coffee and passion regarding art. Mario roasts his own special blends of coffee every week, a few pounds at a time, to satisfy his loyal clientele and to make the best, freshest coffee he can from the highest quality beans. Amazingly, he also makes the most affordable high quality coffee in the area! He cranks out at least 100 pounds a week!I was privileged to try his double espresso. What a delightful little coffee shop. Delicious coffee and a surprisingly large collection of art. Would highly recommend.

The best coffee in Dunedin, with a very nice art store. This is a very nice place to visit, not just for the coffee, but for the art as well! They roast their beans. I am a coffee snob, and this coffee is a 10 out of 10! I buy my beans to grind at home as well.

Excellent decaf coffee! All coffee is roasted in-house by the owner, Mario.Iced coffee is superb — affordable, no up-charge for almond milk. (BTW, the “iced coffee” here is really an iced latte, they don’t have iced coffee without some type of milk - either dairy, almond, or soy. No up-charge for almond/soy milk).Mario uses coffee-ice-cubes, so a decaf iced coffee ends up being about half-caff, which is just what I like. I get one or two of these a week!

Mario is a sweetheart. He does all kinds of special coffees and is very proud of them. He told us all his varieties and had a great personality. He says he has been here 12 years. Come check this place out!
