The place is very dated, looks like a pizza shop. No menu so you have no idea what the prices are. Look out if you order the veal chop. Not worth the price. I new someone that worked at this restaurant, she told me some very interesting facts, the owner buys his chicken, prosciutto and wine at the Walmart down the street and charges rediculous prices for them. The owner also keeps the tips and pays his servers a fixed rate even if the servers bust their asses.

Only here for a long weekend from Texas. Husband called early in the week, Thursday was not available so we made a reservation for tonight (Friday) at 6pm. We dressed and headed to the restaurant at 5 only to see a hand written sign in the door saying they were closed for a "family emergency". I am all for a family run business but that does not mean you staff so that you have to close down when life happens. Additionally a call to let us know before we wasted our time driving there and then having to find a different place for dinner would have been nice.

Food is good, Not spectacular. No Menu No Prices! My Veal shank was $64...I was Shocked!!! Wasn't that tasty but was just okay. $64 not worth it.Bread was fine. Artichoke was good. The marinara sauce was ok

I'd like to write a review but cannot get establishment personnel to return my calls. I'm told they're busy, so was attempting to get a reservation. Strange situation indeed.

Tablecloths, cloth napkins excellent service great appetizers, wonderful entrees, pasta cooked the way we like it, a good 9oz of very nice chianti wine. The lighting was subdued. A lot of thought was put into this restaurant. Granted it certainly needs a little work but we didn't go there to check out the ceiling and a couple of other things. I don't know where we have been but we were told that the restaurant has been there since 1992 or there abouts. Yes it was quite expensive but considering what we had (2 little piggies ) for the quality it was worth it. Can't wait to bring back our friends and family

Update: 5-7-21 This restaurant used to be my go-to Italian restaurant: almost weekly for more than a decade. I haven't been back in at least two-and-a-half years. Once the ownership shifted to the nephew of the original owner the product and service declined. He was not sure if he was going to stay in Dunedin or move out of the area. He was open one day and closed the next. You could not plan your dinner properly with this taciturn behavior. It is with regret that I must post this caveat to those who love good Italian food and were perhaps patrons of this establishment. And sadly, right now, there is no replacement I could recommend.

Absolutely amazing. The most beautiful Italian food you can get without the flight to Italy! It’s sad the amount of people that can’t appreciate such culture, the bad reviews must be from people that prefer Olive Garden over real authentic Italian.

My friend and I are from New England and stumbled upon this place on our ride home from the beach. Thank god we did because this little gem serves the best food!! The service was unmatched and the food was authentic.

Interesting idea but terribly executed. Pasta was over cooked and under seasoned. The ball dishes had great or oil floating in the sauce. They were soggy. We averaged 48 bucks a person with a glass of wine a piece shared salad and canoli none of which was very good. Definitely better places to spend your money.

The hype surrounding this place was right on! NO MENU... so if you are someone who needs to see something on paper to order... sorry you are going to miss out on an excellent experience! From the lobster ravioli to the apps to the huge Veal Chop! WOW ! Loved it !!!

Amazing! Never experienced a restaurant like this with no menu (they will make whatever you want) the food was so authentic and the service was also great! Wonderful hidden gem!

So unique and always very good! It will be helpful to know about the style of this restaurant before you go. There is no menu nor price. The atmosphere is very casual but the price is not necessarily very casual. May not be a great place for a romantic dinner. BUT trust me, this place is so great. Food is just amazing and great service too. I especially love the little "purse like pasta" with Amaretto Sauce. Highly recommended!
