Terrible tasting pizza, overly priced, often takes way too long even for a busy night. I've dined here multiple times trying to give it a chance but it has always been a subpar experience all around. The owner is also just not the vibe. He already made me uncomfortable when I voiced my concerns, and now I can see in the other reviews that he doesn't actually seem to take any criticism or respond productively, sometimes even being rude. I've also worked as a server in the Tampa area and I've heard he is not a good boss, going as far as to harass and threaten past employees. It's simply not worth the time or money.Burnt pizza, cold pizza, raw pizza, everytime I go it's a different issue.Edited to reply: I have only met the owner once, I do not know him or anyone else who works at this establishment. I have, however, seen previous employees voice grievances more than once in social media groups, privately, and that is where I have heard he is not a quality manager and that he has harassed employees in the past. It is NOT a personal attack. I find it alarming that he simply dismissed all of my claims instead of addressing my multiple concerns. Kind of proves my point that he doesn't actually care about feedback. Just look at previous responses to see how actively he cares about valid complaints.Sean, you come off as very unprofessional, both in person and in these reviews. Your pizza is inconsistent, coming out cold, coming out burnt, and coming out undercooked. You might think not being able to keep up with deliveries is a sign of good business, but it isn't, and leaves many with a foul taste.Address the issues in your restaurant, address the concerns your customers raise. This past Saturday went to Blue Jays spring training game and figured since we were over in Dunedin from Tampa we would finally try Madison Ave pizza….and boy what a major disappointment!! Dined in my gf and I we ordered 18in half maddy ave and half cheese pizza. Pizza finally arrived 40 mins later and it was BURNT!! And I’m from New York and like well done pizza…but this pizza was straight up burnt and never should have made to the table!! So sent it back for a remake and figuring since it was a remake they would make our pizza first….but no!!! Waited another 25 mins for our second pizza!!And the funny part is this morning I commented pretty much exactly what I just said on Madison Ave post on instagram, and just went to see replied back on instagram….and Madison ave pizza actually deleted my comment lol and blocked me!! Lol

We are lucky to have a lot of good pizza restaurants in our local area. I know a lot people like Madison Avenue; however, our past experiences with them have not been good. After we had several subpar experiences we stopped going to Madison Avenue roughly two years ago. Tonight we decided to give them another chance but when I called to order takeout pizza they informed me they would only accept my business if I came to dine in. That was so special to hear, bless their hearts, glad they are doing so well that they are refusing business. Instead we ordered from The Nona Slice House again who is always excellent.Response below is to Madison Avenue’s Owners response to my original review:Dear Sir,My review was in NO WAY untrue and/or condescending. For you to accuse me that I treat hospitality professionals as second class citizens is totally absurd and only shows that you in fact have no respect for customers willing to spend their hard earned money at your restaurant!! As I stated, we stopped coming to your restaurant two years ago because of multiple food quality and lack of quality control from your restaurant. Then after a two year break we decide to give you another shot and are told you would only provide service if we came into the restaurant?!? Yes sir, I would have rather been told it would be a long wait to get my order! How long would the wait have been if we came to dine in?? Why didn’t you just take the phone off the hook so you could have everyone focused on providing service to people in the restaurant? No worries, we will respect your wish to help reduce your personal exhaustion by continuing to spend our hard earned money at restaurants that respect customers. We wish you all the best!

Now my opinion and you know what they say about opinions Madison Avenue Pizza, not bad although the thinnest crust I have had anywhere and yes I have enjoyed pizza in NYC many times . Please don't get me wrong the pizza wasn't bad, but there's pizza and then there is Pizza !

Great pizza and sandwiches.The service however hasn’t been great the 2 times we chose to dine in.But the food like I said is great so we just get take out when in the area.Cool to see them on Barstool too!!!
I visit Dunedin every so often for the weekend. This is the place I call and order every time. They never disappoint and the food is amazing with anything you order! Love this place

Terrible experience getting takeout. Called and was told an hour and half, arrived to restaurant at the time I was told and proceeded to wait inside of this place for an entire hour. The only reason I ended up getting my food is cause I got rude like every other person in front of me did. When I finally got my pizza it was cold which doesn’t make any sense? By far the worst takeout experience ever and I will not recommend to anyone. The best part of the experience was the younger woman with red hair who actually started helping the take out and taking everyone seriously. I have plenty of experience working in restaurants and I thought everything about this trip was terrible except the young woman with red hair who seemed to be a waitress just doing her best to help.

Drove an hour after seeing this place on instagram. Spent $45 after tip for an 18 inch pizza ($31) side of ranch (.75 cents) and a plastic cup of flat Diet Coke (3.99). Pizza was okay. Reheats better than fresh. Nice interior, I can see the appeal but I wouldn’t be back.

Just thought I would give this place a try. HORRIBLE! Made us wait and wait for a bottle beer, no one coming , no one taking my order. So. I ask the mouthful and rude waitress for the beer and she went off on me, a big beefy girl, she said do you want a different waitress and before I said anything she called another nasty heavy eye make up rude person. We left!!
