Ok, I'll try and guess the reasoning..." cause it just takes too long to make them with real ice cream, and we get real busy." Paaaa'lease. Management you've got a few options to correct this wrong. 1.) in your milkshake description just say "made with lame machine custard stuff or whatever it is, not real ice cream." 2.) make them for real, with milk and your damn good ice cream, put some whipped cream on top and charge $10... you won't sell as many, you'll make more money... and everyone who buys one will think it's great. 3.) don't sell milkshakes. What you sold me tonight was false advertising. Just pick one of the above options and the world will be a better place. Not a single one of those options is difficult. Had a very thick chocolate chip milkshake. There was an issue with the machine, but the young lady working did a great job of making the shake by hand. Tremendous adjustment to adversity.

The ice cream is delicious and the employees are good. I gave four stars because there’s no system in place to properly serve the next person waiting in line, because there’s no real line. On several occasions, I’ve been waiting in line and had people walk in behind me, and walk right up to the counter and get served. That part is frustrating. But the ice cream itself is fabulous.
We tell all of our clients, friends and family about Strauchans. Everyone raves about the carrot cake ice cream, keylime chocolate pops and the fresh waffle cones. It’s one of our favorite indulgences.Dietary restrictions: They had dairy free options!Parking: Parking was easy and right across the street.Kid-friendliness: Lots of items for the kids to choose from; ice cream, interesting sodas, cake and pie.
