I went to celebrate my birthday and I enjoyed it so much I may do it again next year!!It is a great place for peace. The staff and the guests were very nice and not overbearing. It is rustic and could use some updating ( broken stove burner, mismatched plates, etc )But that gives it that charm of “roughing it “.A little bit pricey, but location to river is perfect!Always booked up, so make a reservation!!

It's the most amazing experience I've ever seen. Prices are sooooo reasonable, the rooms & bathrooms are as clean as a whistle, there service is more like an exclusive, five star ⭐ hotel or like a personalized "Bed-Breakfast". The Food is completely OFF-the-CHART". And HOT Chicks too. Plenty of food, fun, dancing and memories that will never die. Just ONE-Word to sum it up: "Amazing".

Rented the clubhouse there for a celebration of life. It was exactly what we needed for the occasion they allow you to bring your own food they have a kitchen there as well . staff very nice and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to hold an event in Dunnellon.

This is a very relaxed place in the woods. Dirt roads to get in that can be a little muddy. You must carry your bags to the cabins as you cannot drive right up to them. I appreciated the lack of vehicle traffic disturbing our down time. This also meant children were a bit safer to explore right around the cabins without fear of parking lots / traffic. Very nature friendly experience. The porches off the cabins facing right into the woods are a real plus. and several boardwalks allow you to walk through the woods as you are between the Withlacoochee River and the Rainbow River. One leads to a dock on the Withlacoochee side. A dark water river that we used to enjoy fishing on when I was younger. The Rainbow River is sparkly clear fed by springs that you can visit by boat or by driving to the state park.A large resort style main building has games for kids, lounge areas, and a nice view of a small pond. We went just to get away from it all, took advantage of using the canoes and loved going out on the Rainbow River.I could see this really being great for a family vacation, it is not near anything other than the river, bike trails, etc. but if you want to feel like your cabin with the comfort of a cabin this is the place. You can drive or bike into the small town of Dunnellon for eating out, groceries etc.I recommend the rainbow river state park for a visit and there was a place that you can rent canoes and they will take you up stream and you get to float down. It ends at a small restaurant / bar so you can eat when you wrap up if you like.

Really nice place the villas are quiet and tranquil and the cabins are nostalgic yet not as primitive as one might expect the staff is for the most part decent and at times above and beyond your average crew. The prices are competitive and pound for pound as an avid hotel goer I'd chose rrc over any other chain hotel . My only negative findings of this lovely establishment is the proprietor Richard he has no compassion he's a premature balding hatefull poor excuse for a human he has no family values no scruples and morals in short he's a pos whom pays his dedicated staff less than anyone else there's 16 year Olds making more money pouring coffee at dunkin donuts the highest paid employees there does the least amount of work anyway don't expect much if anything at all from Richard he's a real j*** ask the staff there the heart and sole of what would be a dump without them

Was only here to rent a pontoon boat, staff was courteous & helpful. Had some mechanical trouble with first boat, and staff was quick to respond and promptly provided a replacement, also adjusted the rental rate. Completely satisfied and would recommend them for pontoons.

The grounds were sprawling and right on the river which was awesome. The cabin however was a little old and in need of an update. The beds were not comfortable and to have a full kitchen, there were not many kitchen utensils/pots pans, etc. Good thing we brought just about everything. I was also disappointed there was no real spot to have a camp fire going, only small grills for cooking. Other than that being outside and that close to the river was great.
