I placed an order for a bushel of crabs with Thomas Fish Company a week before Christmas because I had 30 people coming over for the holidays. I called an hour prior to me picking up the crabs to confirm my order, but when I arrived I found out that they sold my crabs! We are talking 1:30 on Christmas Eve when all other places were sold out of CRABS and were closing! And to top it off they offered to sell me DEAD Blue Crabs ( umm NO THANK YOU). Thomas Fish Company RUINED MY CHRISTMAS! I had to do the walk of shame cancel my family for Christmas!! on Christmas Eve! I was told they thought it was me even though they didn’t verify the person’s identity! Blah Blah Excuses!!! Don’t Waste your time or money on this company! #BADBUSINESS

A friend of mine caught red grouper and I wanted to buy some. Another friend recommended this fish market. I spoke with a lady named Sunday. She was very knowledgeable. She had fresh whole grouper and frozen filets. She said she could filet the fresh whole fish. When I arrived at the market there was one man there. He did not know the difference between red and black grouper. He said he did not know how to filet the fish but that someone would be there at 3 pm who could filet it. I did not want to wait 2 hours to get it done. I thought I'd buy grouper filets which were more expensive. The salesmen said he didn't know where the frozen grouper was. He opened a plastic bag in a freezer and read print on an individual piece of packaged fish. And then another bag. Finally he said he'd look in the back. He came out with a whole grouper and told me someone came in who could filet the fish. I traveled 40 minutes to this market. The good thing is that the grouper actually tasted good and was fresh. Next time I will call before I go to make sure someone is working who knows how to filet a grouper.

This is our go-to for fresh fish. When my first loving mother-in-law arrived for a visit, we were on a search for fresh fish. Went to several places and ended up here. She was impressed at how fresh the fish was and taught me how to determine if fish is fresh. I have been going weekly ever since. Love this place!
