I visited La Familia yesterday at 6:45pm..Upon entering, I admired the very soothing atmosphere, lighting was quite impressive also.. I was greeted by this young lady..Gosh, she was smiling and confident, just adorable and made me feel absolutely welcome ❤️..She sat me down in a very nice table and introduced herself as Ryanne☺️ She also said her friends call her "Rye" .. since my hearing is not that great, Rye was very patient going over the specials and other menu options..very knowledgeable and so darn enthusiastic!! I asked her what she liked and she said "I'm a steak lover". I can't remember the menu name for it, but it was a T bone ? and potato fingerling s..the bread was delicious, the whole meal so enjoyable.. and they served Bud Zero's which I love.. One of the owners Heather stopped by to say hello and it turns out, I've known Heather for years prior from my UPS route..Even then, she was the "energetic" and very "dedicated" person involved. We had a nice chat which I enjoyed.. It's very refreshing to cross paths with this woman I can call friend.. I am a big fan of anyone who knows how to go over and above and beyond through hard work, plus lead by example which I observed from her staff server "Rye" and chef Shawn (I hope this is correct) ..They both very much enjoy what they do AND IT SHOWS!! ..Thank you again for the relaxing, enjoyable evening out, It meant a lot to me, see you soon ?Parking: The parking lot was conveniently located by the front entrance, very clearly visible 360° for safety and quite clean and tidy, also looked like enough Handicap parking..

Last minute date night to La Familia and we were NOT disappointed! Our sweet waitress started us off with their incredible homemade sangria and sampler platter. The 3 different types of empanadas were some of the best we've ever had! Tostones and yucca fries were perfect too! We were pretty full already when our main dishes came out, but the carne guisada was so tender and the marinade it was in was to die for!!! We will be adding La Familia to our rotation!

Great service, the owner and her team are very friendly. Food was excellent. The mahi special and coconut cream cheesecake were particularly good.

Just wanted to share that I found a gem serving Puerto Rican food in the area. I ordered takeout and was greeted by the friendliest women. The place has an authentic vibe that caught my eye immediately. I tried a few dishes and was blown away—it was like eating my mom's cooking. I Can't wait to go back and try more! If you’re around and looking for Latin food definitely stop by

Dinner there often. We love the food. Their rice and beans red or black are great. I love their "Bowls", we love the vegetarian dishes too. Their margaritas are delicious too.

My husband brought me to this restaurant, the food is delicious, I am Latina but he is not and we are addicted to this food. The service is very good, the live music fantastic, the atmosphere very familiar. We don't live in the area but we don't mind driving to taste the delicious Caribbean cuisine, you need to tried the pernil tacos and the flancocho, also I’m crazy with the pernil mofongo.

Hidden gem...literally! This authentic Latin restaurant is tucked away in Edgewater FL. We received a very warm welcome and served delicious food. We ordered the Carne Guisada, black beans and rice with a side of tostones. We took home the Barras de quesito to have with our coffee in the morning because we were stuffed! I apologize for the pictures as we had already mixed everything before taking the picture...our plate was much prettier when served! If you are anywhere near this restaurant it's a must try. They also had live music that added to the atmosphere! Can't wait to go back...maybe for Valentine's Day

Great meal had the special chicken and shrimp kabobs. They were great the chef was so good we asked if she could have the shrimp on one and the chicken on the other being my wife doesn't like shrimp. She was more the Accommodating. It was like sitting down for family Sunday supper Sangaria was delicious. We even got hugs from the chef when we left. Highly recommend!
