This is a go to for me. The food is always hot and delicious and made exactly how I asked. They keep a specials menu that gets updated regularly with food and speciality shakes. I like how the whole front wall is floor to ceiling windows and they always keep the music turned down. It’s never incredibly loud in there, which is surprisingly with how busy they can get.I recommend the blackened chicken sandwhich with the fries cooked a little longer OR The classic Philly with sweet potato fries!

Once again South Philly does not disappoint. Great ribeye with mushrooms, onions and american cheese. Great chop of the meat and cheese mix in. The hand cut fries are great. Service is always fast and efficient.

This is definitely a bittersweet review. For me the food AND the service need to be great and unfortunately it was NOT. The GOOD- The Philly Cheesesteaks are absolutely fantastic! The shaved ribeye is tender, flavorful, and the peppers fresh and cooked perfectly. The bread is soft yet holds the meat well. All around really good cheesesteak. The fries are hand-cut and they are the top 3 best REAL fries Ive had in a long time. The sweet tea was good as well. The BAD- upon arriving, no hello or instructions on seating.. thats fine I found my family in the back and began to look at the menu. Our waitress comes and she is short and dismissive. There was another server there and they were both rude in their demeanor. My husband asked for a drink but before he could get finish asking, she cut him off, TWICE. The atmosphere is tight uncomfortable, so much so that my sons asked to go outside. The UGLY- while eating, the two servers were gossiping loudly about a specific table of people and demanding they get a tip.. Our waitress also snapped at and disrespected the cooks right in front of us. It was awful. Those poor dudes. My husband and I made it a point to go to the cooks and tell them what a great job that they were doing because of how they were being treated. There isn't any cuisine worth eating in that type of environment, we will not go back in and will only do to go orders in the future. I do recommend the food but I don't recommend eating inside of the restaurant.

Really great chicken cheesesteaks. Hots are a little much for me but you can get them without or how I do it, with about 1/4 the regular amount.Super delicious sandwiches and a nice variety of milk shakes too! (FYI, you can customize your milk shakes!)

Not a real Philly cheesesteak, meat was so chopped it was like ground beef, almost a sloppy Joe consistency.I was very disappointed. Expected a real cheesesteak not mince meat. everything was mixed together like they just scooped it out of a meat grinder. Avoid if you know what a Philly Cheesesteak is supposed to be.
