We have made memories at La Stanza throughout the years. We've made those memories with our dear friends and our romantic dinners together, the little table beside the railing. Thank you Bill. The bartender you've served us very, very good drinks and we thank you for that. You're the best. And lastly, but not least, thank you for all the wonderful meals. The deliciousness of it, the thought that went into in the hands that prepare them. Enjoy your retirement. You've earned it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

If I could give zero stars I would. We used to absolutely love this place. My husband can not go to the restaurant at the time to enjoy a meal for health reasons, so we tried to order take out. The first time I tried, I was informed they were extremely busy and not taking to go's. Tonight when I called, Janet answered the phone. As soon as I said I would like to place a take out order, she abruptly told me ,"we are not doing take out. Goodbye" and she hung up on me. We will not try again. What a shame. We heard rumor they have been sold. I am starting to understand why.

Noisy, mediocre food, service would have to get better to be called poor. Wouldn't recommend to people I don't like.

Had Easter dinner there yesterday. I ordered the rack of lamb. It wasn’t a rack of lamb. It was 4 very small and dry chops. Similar to lollipop lamb chops. The atmosphere was ok. Would have been nice with flowers on the tables.

As a resident of Englewood, Fl and a long time customer of our local restaurants, I’m sorry to say LaStanzas has fallen below my expectations. We were a party of 10 who dine at our local restaurants.typically. The restaurant offers Prime Rib as their special on Friday nights, however the waitress does not mention the price when giving the specials. I ordered a medium rare cut and was served a piece of meat loaded with fat and extremely stringy. Another patron ordered hers medium and was served a very nice piece of meat. I did not want to create a problem with complaints as we had theater tickets. Today I looked at the restaurant receipt and saw I paid $39.00 for a plate of FAT and returned to make a local restaurant aware of how they are failing our community! I was advised I should have returned the meat (not an option) since we needed to be on our way. The two individuals who I spoke to never rectified the situation or offered to make things right. If this is what LaStanzas is serving I would recommend that the residents of our community dine elsewhere. LaStanza you had an opportunity to make things right, however you FAILED!

You can delete my review but I will advise residents of Englewood that you are serving low quality prime rib!

The stuffed mushroom app was 4 small mushrooms and a bread stuffing short in crab. The salads arrived during our appetizer and then there was at least 20 minutes before our meals arrived.I had the veal Oscar. It consisted of flavorless veal with mushy cooked tomato slices, more bread than crab and hard to find bernaise. My husband had a seafood dish that was passable, however lacked seasoning. Service was SLOW.

The bartender was excellent! He was doing everything from making drinks to taking orders and cleaning tables! I felt badly so we didn’t complain about the calamari we had, I should have sent it back, barely cooked enough and zero seasonings. We just went for drinks and appetizers so very

Our party of three went for the "early bird" dinner. We were seated promptly but the hostess stated "it'll be a while before the waitress can take your order". We ordered sweet tea and were served unsweetened tea instead. When the food arrived, we were disappointed. The house salad was a small portion of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrot, and a tomato wedge. The food was even more disappointing. The lasagna was about 1" thick. The chicken siciliano was more like chicken parmesan and was served with a vegetable medley: green beans, 1 piece of broccoli, some scraps of cauliflower, and 1 piece of yellow squash. The eggplant rollatini was adequate at best. All dishes were covered in a BLAND tomato sauce that could not be described as "italian"...no flavor to it. Can't recommend this place at all.

Amber is the best waitress ever. She even boxes your leftovers rather than just hand you a box. Even fancy restaurants don't do that anymore. Very pleasant.
