“stopped in for a something quick and more healthy than a burger. Had a wrap and you can tell everything was very fresh and made to order. The couple working behind the counter were very outgoing and friendly. A lot of choices for such a small place. I was there about 15-20 minutes and saw a bunch of people come through the door in my time there. They seem very popular in the the area.“
“I messed up my reservation and accidentally booked a table of 5 for the following weekend. They were super understanding and accommodating despite how busy they were. the food was phenomenal and the ambiance was great. I got the branzino and it was incredible. 100% going “
“A great vibe. You’ll feel like a local.I like that we don’t wait in a line. It’s a friendly place. Clean, TV’s, parking lot across the street. I love the chicken quesadilla! My husband likes the soup, burger and anything fish… along with the beer. A great night out or a Saturday lunch. ♥️Parking: Parking in front or in free lot across the street.“
“Went there based on the menu and other reviews to try it out. I wanted to try the cheese steak sandwich but it was burger night so I went with the cheeseburger and it was really good! I would definitely go back to support our fellow friends from up north. Good service too, and the prices were good. It gets 5 stars from me and I would definitely recommend trying it out!“
“Sandwiches were delicious! Honestly the best sub sandwich I've had & beats out the chain restaurants easily. Fresh baked bread is an extra plus!Vegetarian options: Variety of veggies you can put on your sub.Parking: Parking is behind the building, down the alley. Parking is free“
“Ate here for the first time today. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were good. We had two of the pulled pork sandwiches. They were excellent. Plenty of meat and good bread. Had hush puppies as a side and they were great but did get a little soft on the ride home. Probably better for dine in Would recommend!“
“There's certain restaurants that you absolutely treasure, this is one of them. You almost have to know that this place exists and when you do...you'll be there 6 days a week ordering a sub for lunch. Ive tried so many things on the menu and i am stuck deciding which one is the best. Its too hard!! The owner is the chef and is super passionate about making sure you have a great tasty and delightful sandwich. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Some of my favorites are steak and cheese, pepper and egg, and tuna. I also would like to comment about how nice the staff is. They all are such nice people and go out of their way to make sure your order is complete and everything from the simple things like napkins are in your to go bag! Thank you so much for awesome lunches!! Andd keep up the good work!!“
“This place is hands down the best! I received a free grain bowl (AHH..Greeked Out) today and let me tell you it is absolutely amazing! I will most definitely be a new customer. We need more of these and less fast food restaurants! Also if you are a breastfeeding Mom like me go check out their menu, they has so many choices to pick from that will help boost that liquid gold!“
“Nestled in Venice, behind a bunch of stores that you may not see on 41 in front of Books A Million and by Outback, Skeechers and Bob Evans is a shopping center with a little hidden gem of a pizza place. Read a great review were delivery or pick up was made and they got the wrong order and the boss drove a good distance all the way into Englewood to deliver the right food so I loved that so I said let me check this place out, I started with just a conventional cheese pie and Ashley was nice enough to tell me about the restaurant, the business and how their dough was made fresh daily. I waited about 10 minutes for the pie and she was super friendly, place was super clean. I got home, the pizza was absolutely amazing. I loved the sauce. It was a very sweet tasting sauce, nice cheese and the flavor was great too. Next time. I go back since they are Chicago deep dish style. I’ll venture out of my New York comfort zone and try the deep dish, definitely check this place out Pizza Boss in Venice, they’re there two years and they’re absolutely awesome and they’re small business. Support your small businesses and skip the big chains.“
“We absolutely loved the experience, the food was delicious, lamb rack, greek salad and the mixed grill plater. Took baklava to go, pistachios was amazing, kids loved the chocolate baklava. Thank you for awesome service, made us feel welcomed, loved our first time visit, we'll be back again once in town.“
“Since I started working right down the street, I have been wanting to give this place a try. Being that Venice historically has been more retirees, I was not expecting great sushi but from other reviews felt that it would be at least okay.First, the food was surprisingly good if a bit small on the portions. I had a bento box lunch, which traditionally includes a california roll (albeit on a smaller scale), shumai or dumpling and possibly a small salad and/or soup in addition to the main protein selected. Unfortunately, the Venetian Bento box was simply 8 pieces of spicy tuna and 3 chef's choice nigiri (in this case salmon, tuna and escolar). Nothing else.I also ordered an order of Ikura (Salmon Roe) which was again on the smallish side but the quality was good, although it did not have the pronounced salty taste I expect. So somewhat disappointing, but still good. What really turned me off, and will give me pause about returning was the lady who took my order. Not terribly friendly, but not rude either... until, I asked for low-sodium soy sauce instead of regular. The soy sauce comes in small container with a lid so they just pour it up in the restaurant... it is not prepacked in any way. When I made this seemingly small request, I saw her roll her eyes and act like I had asked for some huge favor. This after I had left a $5 tip on a $20 ticket. So, if you are looking for decent sushi on Venice Island I would say the food is good and the prices were not terrible. Just be prepared for less than outstanding customer service.“
“On this particular visit to the Aiden Lane location our pizza was made and cooked perfectly. Sometimes the crust can be too thin, limp and soggy, but we requested it well done and it came out exactly how it should be. The crust was the correct thickness and the pizza was well done and crispy without being burnt. Our server, Mercedes, was just the right amount of attentive and made us feel welcome and appreciated. Will definitely be back!“
“Amazing spot to swing by & enjoy a qualitysub (pressed subs are the best if you enjoy toasted).Kid-friendliness: Though they do not have kid sized subs, they can cut an 8" into multiple slices. Food for their lunch the next day!“
