“We normally go to Sarasota for Thai food, but the good reviews made us try Thai2Go. My husband and I had crispy spring rolls, the rice soup, red and yellow curries with chicken. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the young man (we assumed the owner) who waited on us was very friendly. We will definitely get take-out from here again!“

“Thai food at a sports bar? Yes, in deedy. The best Thai food with 4 levels of hear. Chef's hot makes the food not as enjoyable. Mexican hot is my sweet spot, but my wife prefers medium heat. They only serve beer and wine, but that is all you will want eating the Thai food. The place has that great sports bar vibe with several tvs for the various games available that day.“

“Outstanding. Truly. Tiny intimate place, the parking lot has 8 parking spaces so be prepared. This place that is the best Thai food I've ever had in my life. We are world travelers and enjoy Thai food in many places but this was amazing. We ordered the tuna tower, edamame and fried calamari tentacles for appetizer. Edamame was very fresh, not oily or over salty. Tuna tower was good, I'm not sure if there was enough of the tower quantity to "share" per say. Fried calamari was exceptional, tender octopus and perfectly crunchy fried, not too sharp. The fried rice was well seasoned, with plenty of vegetables that were cooked perfectly. Nothing was soggy or over cooked. I ordered the ted curry fried tofu and was asked what level of spicy 1-5 I would like. I ordered the 3 and it was spicy enough for a few water refills. But the white it came with was cooked in coconut milk I believe so the sweetness balanced out the dish. The the tofu is more rectangular and thinner than chunky so the sear on the outside was well done. It never got soggy inside of the curry. It was creamy and spicy and delicious. Each vegetable addition to the tofu dish had its own flavors as well. There's not a thing I would have changed about this experience. Very beautiful and comfortable setting. We had our two children under 5 years old and it was great. Perfect for a date night or family dinner out. Kudos to Baiyoke!“

“As other reviewers have mentioned, the service here is ... unusual. The approach of the wait staff to customers is quite abrupt. As an example, we asked to keep a menu, and the waitress told us no. She said if we decided we wanted to order something else later we could ask her for the menu and she would bring it back. We also asked for silverware to eat our dessert because it looked delicious, but was too hot to touch, and she said that wasn't appropriate because the dish was meant to be eaten with your hands. This is a fair comment, but it's just a little unusual in terms of the service industry in Venice, Florida. If you come to eat here early, they also are definitely trying to rush you out to make room for the diners later in the evening. Service is very efficient, but I think the expectation is that you'll be in and out in less than an hour. Happy crab: this is a whole fried crab with tasty sautéed vegetables surrounding it. I ate the whole thing and had no leftovers, even though it was a giant portion. A word of warning, I don't mind when fried things get soaked and sauce, and then somewhat mushy, that is what this will taste like to you, so, if you don't like your fried things to be smothered in liquid, order a different dish. Comes with sticky rice that was also quite good. 5/5 Cashew sauté: this was not great. Very few cashews, and the flavor was a little lackluster. Vegetables were cooked OK but as I said, just a bit flavorless. 2/5 Parking is very easy, this restaurant is in a strip mall so if you make it to dinner early, there'll be no trouble with parking. The dining room was empty on a Thursday at 5:15, we had made a reservation anyway, but it was definitely full by the time we left at 6 o'clock.“
