THEY STEAL We went twice in a week while on vacation, spent a few hundred dollars. On the first night I forgot to take my brand new Land's End pullover with me when we left. I didn't notice until we were packing to go home. I went to inquire if they had a lost and found. The young man I spoke to said they did and looked for it. He didn't see it but asked me if it was size XL. I said yes and he told me the owner had it. How would he know what size it was? Why would the owner have it? Why not leave it in the lost and found. So he went up to ask the owner about it. When he came back he told me they packed up the lost and found and brought it to Good Will the day before. Pretty coincidental. It was a total BS story. But how could I refute it? So, if you go, don't leave anything behind or it WILL BE STOLEN!

I must say, I was considering coming for a meal. Given the cost of meals out these days, I decided to read the reviews before coming. Wow, what a disaster your restaurant is!!! I don't know what turned me off most, the experiences described by your customers or the lame excuses, borderline confrontational responses from management. I believe I will not come. Wasting my money and experience for someone that can't seem to get their act together (and then doesn't even own it) is not my idea of a good place to go.

Bartender was awesome but breaded fish sandwich was a joke. Very small and fish was spoiled must have used carp.

I would give a zero if I could. There was so much that went wrong this evening that I can't even list it all. Service, food, ambience - all were bad. We will not return.

Went to The Waverly (upstairs) restaurant for a birthday celebration. Excellent food and service. Can recommend the Sea Bass and Braised Short Rib entrees!
Stopped in for lunch. We went with friends that we have not seen for a while so we were not in a hurry and we were not rushed by the staff. Food was delicious and atmosphere was perfect.

The service was very good. However, we both ordered crab cakes. They were cakes for sure, but how in the world crab was used in naming these cakes because there is no crab. Honestly, they should be embarrassed to serve these as crab cakes or to serve these in such a beautiful restaurant.

Cool place across the beach. Stopped on a Sunday afternoon. Sat at the bar. Got a one drink and sushi roll. Came to $32. Yikes! Not the best sushi I've ever had. It was more full of unpeeled cucumber than anything else. So it wasn't that great. I've always had peeled cucumber in my sushi. Good staff though! Parking lot monitored against beach parking which is nice.

We have eaten here a couple of times. The first time we sat at our table for an hour without the oysters or the entrees we ordered. When the oysters arrived 30min after our entrees, they said they would be comped (free). When the bill came, it included the oysters, so we let them know. The manager came back saying they could only discount them.We tried The Waverly again a year later. We had reservations for 8 people on a Friday night. When we arrived on time, the hostess informed us that another party had told them that they were us and took our table. The party that took our table only had 6 people. Instead of removing the dishonest people and having them wait for another table, we were left with no idea of when we might get a table. We stood around near the host stand dodging customers, hurried servers with food and others for 30min with no end in sight. When we notified them that we were leaving, the manager and hostess could not care less and they made no effort to keep us as customers. I could not recommend this restaurant.?
