We called ahead and made a reservation for 7:30PM (2 adults). We arrived at the hostess stand at 7:15PM and told the hostess that we were a bit early and gave her our name. She immediately sat us at a clean table and told us a waitress would be right with us. The dining area both inside and out was about 80% full and the waiters and waitresses were busy, but not overly rushed. I have a habit of timing service (call me a geek) when I go to a restaurant and this visit was no different. After waiting for over 6 minutes we had a waitress stop by our table and apologize saying "Millie (not her real name) is your waitress, but she is slammed so I'll take your drink orders and she'll be over to take your food order in a minute." We gave her our drink order and off she went. 5 minutes later she returned with our drinks (a beer and an iced tea) and asked if we were ready to order. We placed our food order (cheeseburger with fries and fish and chips). This was the last time we had direct contact with anyone from the wait staff. We sat quietly and enjoyed watching the boats on the water and small talk. My timer kept running and as time got longer and longer we began to notice that servers would come out of the kitchen with food and return to the kitchen carrying the same food. In one instance a food runner walked around with a hamburger & fries for at least 5 minutes bringing it out of the kitchen and then back in several times. It was almost comical. My timer now read 25 minutes since the waitress had taken our order and we began to wonder if there was a problem. Our table in the dining area was situated such that I could see across the dining area and into the open area that led from the dining room into the kitchen. As I watched the entry and exit of staff from the kitchen I began to realize that the kitchen was in total disarray with waiters and waitresses searching through dishes of food stacked in the warming area. It seemed to me that the back of the house (from an organizational point of view) was a disaster area. By this time a full 35 minutes had transpired since we sat down at our table. We waited 5 more minutes before getting up from our seats and leaving the restaurant. I hope the management of the establishment is aware of the problem behind this horrible service and will act to correct it. I'm certain that if this happened to us, others probably experienced the same situation. I just wonder of they too exited the establishment hungry and frustarted. They have a great model in action for running up food cost and cutting into profits. Good luck !

Maybe the most tasteless burger I've ever eaten. Service was slow but the fried pickles were delicious. it's a cool place though. If I go back, I would get something different, and maybe go at a different time

Ok let me be specific, I see a lot of reviews with 4 or 5 stars, this really amazes me, I think these are relatives or friends of the owners., the food and service is not 5 star.We were there with out Wednesday dinner group.We have been there three times and each time the food and service have been below standard.Tonight was an example of this service and food.We ordered the fish and chips with a baked potato instead of fries, the potato was cold and the fish was limp and mushy, no crispness, given it was deep fried!We returned the dish after eating only half, we shared the dish, the manager gave us a whopping $1.90 off, we were stunned at how generous he was NOT!We shall not return!

The water tasted local .. kind of like recycled swamp water. It is appropriate maybe for their Gator tail appetizer... Not a good selection of dinner meals . Not a fan of haddock as seafood myself.

Although the food is very good - the service needs improvement, took 15 min to get a drink , and it wasn't that crowded , while we watched the bartender gabbing with costumers , I ordered a French Bordeaux, it was served warm , I may sound like a prude but when they charge $20 a grass it should be done right, it a nice place and I will return but just saying.

The food is great here. Very impressed!! The view upstairs is awesome. One of the very few restaurants on the chain of lakes on the water and this one is top notch!! Brady was the best bartender. Very attentive!

Ordered crusted haddock. Figured since it seemed to be one of two or three seafood items, it would ve great.Tasteless..worst fish I have ever eaten. And way overcooked. Sauce was thin and did nothing for fishOnly good thing was the service. Braedon was excellent.Will not return. Very disappionted.
