Don't come here very rude and nasty attitude. We were trying to get a table and the lady asked us to close the door. Instead of helping us or asking how many and getting a name. Disgusting behavior and we left. Rather give our money elsewhere. Where it's appreciated.

I go there a few times a month always good,but today was terrible,bacon was mostly fat and not half cooked,toast was burned and grits was one big lump,I mentioned to server and she just took grits back and all they did was take the big lump off,no commit on bacon or toast, I'll go back again to see how it is,if like that again I won't go back
Disappointed in this sunrise grill, ordered the 2 eggs 2 bacon and 2 pancake breakfast, my usual in Tavares, and i ordered my eggs over medium. I had asked the server to make sure the whites of the eggs were cooked completely. So do u know how they insured the whites were completely cooked….they threw them in the microwave. Gross..? probably will not return. Truly disappointing. My suggestion to management is to teach your cooks how to fry an egg ? to the customer’s specification.

Good food, great service at a reasonable price, I highly recommend the Sunrise
It’s a perfectly serviceable small diner. Usually a good crown in attendance. Servers are friendly and the place seems generally clean.The food is ok. A good, close place to go when the topic is “I don’t want to cook” but not so much for “I want something really tasty or special”And I’m not saying the food is bad at all, I just have not yet found something that I can reliably look forward to. My wife’s quite happy with the omelets though! Maybe I’m too picky.

Great food, even though we were not many of their obviously many regulars, we were treated as special by Summer)? And treated to a special birthday celebration! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our time there. What a wonderful local place !
