Went on Friday night, expecting to eat. Checked in and noticed how there were at least 5 tables clear an stayed for 30 mins with my two friends waiting. Nobody was seated at the tables and we easily received drink service at the bar. Left quickly because we were hungry. People running front of the house had no idea what they were doing. Don't go here for food. Dud have good bar tender...

We saw this place driving by on Friday 4.12.24 and decided to stop in for a late lunch. We immediately sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. We ordered the conch fritters, which had plenty of conch in them, and the fresh fish on a bed of pasta; with a lemon sauce and capers. We also had a Thai rice that was a little spicy and sriracha fries. Everything was very good! The beers were cold and the margarita delicious. Rylee, our server, made sure our food and drinks came out timely. We’re looking forward to eating here again soon.

So good, we had to come back a second time. Break Awayz is a little place along the coast with a big beer menu, great food, service and vibe!Day 1 started with a true surprise find, Other Half Brewing All Riwaka Everything Imperial IPA and a delicious prosciutto appetizer, all very good.Day 2 was a return for dinner, with Vitamin Sea and Desthil IPA’s and a burger with ghost pepper jack, carmelized onions, jalapeños and bacon that was on point. You kind of expect overpriced food from a place on the beach, but at least it's good food, if the menu is a bit small. I've only been here for trivia night (you have to make reservations) a couple times, and the guy running it seems to have the formula down; you'll want to bring teammates from more than one generation if you want to be competitive. However, it gets way too loud in the building; some serious sound damping needs to be installed. It was a good time, but some of my party won't return because of the high noise. There is ample outdoor dining space.
First time visit to Break Awayz and it will NOT be my last! Service was amazing - shout out to Taylor who was very attentive and all around a very cool dude. The poke nachos were light and refreshing and the prosciutto & goat cheese flatbread absolutely slaps — flavor explosions all around. The seaweed salad is also a must. Great food and great draft beer by the ocean, what more could you ask for? Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

My wife and I went out to Break-Awayz with her sister and husband. It’s was a beautiful day 80 degrees . And the restaurant is directly across from the beach with great ocean views . The food was excellent we had prosciutto wrap with roasted pepper sauce and balsamic glaze. We also had a Caprese salad. Chips with a Warm blue cheese sauce on them . All was excellent the prices was decent the service was excellent and fast they have many drinks and beers to choose from so if you are in the area and looking for a place to eat give them a try you will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking is all street parking but the area does get busyWheelchair accessibility: Yes you can access with wheelchair
