We stopped by after watching the sunrise and OMG it is so good. The coffee is good. I had eggs benedict and my boyfriend had the Philly breakfast burrito. Both were amazing. Highly recommend. Next time I'll try mimosas.

Lovely place with kind friendly servers, tasty coffee, and a beautiful view. I went here twice when I was visiting the area and it was great. I went early in the morning for coffee both days and they let me sit on the porch (which overlooks the beach) with my dog which I really appreciated, and even brought a bowl of water for him. If I'm ever back in the area I definitely plan to stop in again!

This has been our favorite breakfast spot for years and years! New owners took over and the food is still the same & delicious. Plus the staff is always kind and attentive. Best pancakes on the beach!!!

This is one of our regular weekend breakfast places. We love the sandy beachside location and usually sit outside and watch the ocean. New owners took over and unfortunately changed the whole wheat pancake mix which used to be my favorite into something much less good, so I miss that. The buttermilk pancakes are good (but please go back to that original wheat pancake!). I also really like their BLT. I would say the omelettes could use more ingredients inside (too much fluffy egg, not enough meat and veggies and cheese) and the side of bacon always comes out swimming in grease. The cook needs to blot the bacon before sending it out like that. The wait staff shares all of the tables so you’ll have everyone waiting on you. They are always friendly and great. This setup generally works well but it can be hard to get your check sometimes. The menu serves breakfast and lunch all day but it’s a somewhat limited menu given the smaller location. All in all, cute laidback beachside vacation, great staff and good pancakes.

On vacation here in St. Augustine we found this local establishment and decided to try it. My wife had the shrimp and Grits, I had the Java bowl which is home fries, scrambled eggs, cheese, your choice of meat and then it's toped with sausage gravy. We also split the Kahula French toast. everything tasted fantastic! I did not taste any actual Kahula on the French toast but it was still good. The Mermosas was awesome as well. And who wouldn't enjoy sitting near the beach for an early morning brunch. All in all, a good choice!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheel chair access, but it goes in a zig-zag and has a pretty good slope to it.

We loved every thing about Java Joint.Smiling waitress...big hot coffee @ $2.50 + yummy omelette, 2 big slices of wheat toast and bowl of grits with butter at a great low price of $11.Fun colorful dining room. What's not to like?Is what I would have liked to say...but making us wait wait and wait probably 30 minutes plus for our order to arrive without at least coming to us to explain anything or offer a small snack while waiting as they were having a cook issue in the kitchen... was really bad inconsiderate service.

Amazing view of the beach. Spectacular staff, especially Lilly. And the food…BRO!!! Even if you don’t like grits you have to try these. Good gracious! The breakfast is delicious. This place is a regular for us every time we’re in the area.Ps-the wait to sit outside is worth it. But the decorations and art for sale inside is enchanting as well.

I'm going back today for breakfast.. it's the view.. food was good, prices are what you would expect to sit and watch the waves roll in while eating in the shade while our printing presses are working overtime to create inflation at a breakneck speed
