“We impulsively swung by Gordo's, enticed by glowing Yelp reviews, and boy, were we in for a treat! Stepping inside, the ambiance was positively radiant, with decor that danced with whimsy. Our taste buds were tantalized by the burrito that arrived promptly, bursting with freshness and flavor, just what the doctor ordered. Portions were so generous that we easily shared. When we requested a particular brand of tequila, not in their list , the bartender assured us it would grace their shelves by next week. This place is an absolute gem! Don't dally; make sure to drop by soon.“
“We had an amazing experience at Blue Bamboo! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and the food was delicious! There were lots of vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, general tso’s cauliflower, dragon whiskers, and veggie jai tofu. Everything was fantastic and came out right on time.“
“Ordered biryani and curry to go. First, when you enter the smell of cooking spices meets you, then the friendly staff welcomed me and answered my questions about the menu. Then, when I got home, the food was fantastic. My new favorite Indian food in JAX. I was amused that when I ordered the second style Biryani (for me) they seemed cautious when I expressed my desire for more spicy than the rest of my order. (it was chicken 65 biryani, it would be a crime to ask for mild wouldn't it?) Everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back and try food straight from the kitchen. Our entire order was for Chicken65 Biryani, Lamb Biryani, and Bagara Baingan. We also had extra raita.“
“I'd graciously love to leave a 1 star review, so that I keep things wonderful place to myself and the locals...however they deserve all the praise they can get. It's a nice, downhome kid of bar. Everyone is friendly. There are a few dudes from a local 1%er biker gang that show up once in a while, but you just don't talk to them and they don't bother anyone. But they is rare, and I can tell that the new owner wants to do away with that element. Amanda, Tim, Ron, and even Crispy are good folks. Bottle beers only, full liquor bar, and wine. Draft beer to come. No smoking in doors, as previously with the last owner. Live music and karaoke.“
“I’m not into Mexican food but this place has changed my view. The food taste very fresh. The decor is absolutely amazing. The waitresses were beautiful and friendly and very attentive. The cerviche taste absolutely amazing and the tacos were out of this world. We will definitely come again.“
