Unfortunately, this might be my last time visiting this location. I’m not happy about it, as I grew up eating here and have watched it go downhill.The service has never been it for me but I mostly do takeout, so I don’t mind that much.The food is what’s rated poorly. The ingredients have gone downhill. The beef taco I received tonight was awful (pic posted) it was supposed to have cheese and lettuce, it was just a cold tortilla filled with cold meat. I gave it a try and couldn’t finish the bite. They’ve also stopped caring about presentation, no lime with carne asadas, no cheese, hardly any cilantro. I’m paying almost $20 for two tacos and a side of queso, why is this worse than Taco Bell?Lastly, the way the food was just thrown in the bag was careless. I ordered salsa and queso, just thrown loosely in the bag, waiting for an accident to happen.

Not only has the quality of the food gone down hill but we were told that the fajita plate was a VERY large serving, enough for TWO people. Well it’s a good thing that we ended up ordering 2 separate meals. When the fajitas arrived it was not even enough for ONE hungry man. And I ordered the quesadilla supreme and I found not ONE HAIR in my meal but I found TWO HAIRS in my food. Of course the meal was removed from our bill. But that still didn’t help with the Taste of the food. It was terrible. Neither of our dinner plates tasted like Mexican food. Mine was the quesadilla supreme and it has just a mushy refried bean gross taste and it was watery. And it was suppose to have cheese in it. There was NO cheese in it that I could fine. And my hubby had the fajitas and it had no taste, it tasted like nothing I have ever tasted before. My husband lived on the border of Mexico and would eat their food all the time. He loves Mexican cuisine. But he said this was not good. But his was at least eatable.
I Do NOT recommend this place. Over the years the food has gone wayyyyyy downhill in a hurry.
Now costumer service is absolutely wonderful but it does not make up for the terrible taste in food.

We have been going here for 30+ years, and I understand the economy is rough now, but went for lunch today and was definitely not charged the prices on the menu. One fajita Nacho full order, one chicken quesadilla (todays special), one beef nacho, one breakfast burrito, one rice side, and one side fries plus two kids drinks, one adult drink, two quesos and one quacamole, total was $86, again I know prices are increasing and they are now charging 3% for debit card purchases, but based on the prices on the menu we were overcharged by a lot, this will be the last visit to a family favorite. It’s unfortunate! Definitely not the experience I’m used to after 30 years!

We go to LaNapolera every few months. Tonight was for my fiancé birthday. I Ordered the chimichunga dinner plate. I had asked for the queso to be separate and it wasnt.When it arrived it was saturated with the beans, cheese. It was so saturated that it made the chimichunga was soggy and I couldn't eat a half of one. I mentioned it to the waiter and he did nothing.i asked for the manager and she apologized and told me to order it on separate plates the next time we come in. She didn't even offer to reduce our check.I am so disappointed in this restaurant.
