Not child friendly unless you are seated indoors, was told by numerous employees while in normal seating outdoors that smoking is allowed.Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly outdoor seating will have cigarette smoke

Whiteys Fish Camp was so much fun! We got to sit outside under the lanai right on the river. It was an awesome experience. Harry our server was very good, He provided us fresh drinks and hot food. The fish and chips were delicious! Two huge pieces of cod with hush puppies that melted in your mouth, homade fries and cole slaw. It was amazing! The best part....my niece treated my sister and me for mothers day! Thanks Annie!

Been here a few times. A Go-To place when up in the Middleburg or Blanding area. I always defer to a seafood entree and of course some oysters, gator bites, a/o hush puppies. Food is always on point. Have enjoyed seating bit inside and outside and the atmosphere is always enjoyable form both customers and any background music. The servers are always professional and interactive with our groups. Right on the water (River) so great to enjoy with the right environment.

There gator nuggets are the best. I also got catfish and it was pretty good. Fries taste great also. Service was good and our waiter was nice.

Whiteys is an often talked about place to eat. It has a good atmosphere and it's on the water. Sometimes they have live bands too. The food is ok, but I feel most people go for the vibe. The service seems to be ok when I have been there.

Our waiter was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is just right. Whitey's is a great place to take out of town guests who've never been to a fish camp style restaurant. Went on a Saturday for a birthday dinner (early). It wasn't too packed since we were early. We were a fairly large party, and the server handled all the separate checks easily and pleasantly. It took a bit long to get our first drinks, but they were consistently full from that time on. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely weather. We ordered steamed oysters as an appetizer. I prefer raw, but most at the table preferred steamed. I thought they were pretty good! For my dinner, I ordered a salmon bowl. It was very good and everything was fresh. My only complaint is the salmon piece was fairly small - but this is where we are at as a restaurant society these days lol. So I guess it's just normal. Over the years they have definitely added some more healthy options. And this is a good one! Someone at the table let me have a hush puppy as well. I really like hush puppies and whiteys is near the top of my list. Someone else at the table ordered the shrimp dinner (grilled) and that was good. I think shrimp is one of the things Whiteys does best! I didn't sample anyone else's plates but everyone at the table felt good about the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Whiteys is what a fish camp really should be. There's a reason it's been around so long!

This is NOT good. Haven't been here in years so I took my girlfriend out for an early dinner, fried mushrooms were in a strange and tasteless batter but the mushrooms themselves were far too large. Her shrimp scampy had cayenne pepper and far too hot, my fish and chips were chewy and overcooked. This incredibly horrible meal with a single desert was Over $100, not worth a fraction of that. That night and throughout the next day my girlfriend was sick, stomach issues.
