The location is very nice, right by the river. The server was very nice and explained everything and gave recommendations on what to order on the menu. The problem is, the recommended dishes weren't very good. The fried plantains were super bland and didn't even have the flavour of plantains, thought he shrimp and guac on top wasn't bad. The "Mongolian Duck" came with some fried rice which was actually very good but the duck looked deep fried because although the skin was very crispy, the meat was overcooked. They also recommended the grilled octopus, which was very tender but only tasted of salt and char from the grill. My friend also got a run of the mill California roll that was just an average California roll. Also the complimentary popcorn they gave us was quite soggy/chewy. It came with a lotto. Candy at the end which was nice. Not sure if we ordered the wrong dishes or not, but they were what was recommended by the server.

Where can I begin for my BIRTHDAY. ALEX, ALEX , ALEX!!!! So I’ve been to this restaurant maybe twice in about 10 years. Each time it was like an invite birthday experience or something of that nature. The restaurant didn’t really resonate with me, but my third experience has really changed me from a customer that comes by chance to a customer that will now suggest in a room full of potential customers plus for my own personal benefit - I would definitely go back AGAIN & AGAIN. I can see why one of the guest with me specifically asked for this waiter. this guy, Alex was absolutely amazing. The other times I went I wasn’t really introduced to trying different things on the menu and thanks to Alex. I did due to his wonderful suggestions. my culinary experience was really impressive this time. I went outside of the box tried several things and we all were just in our own Utopia. I am a very picky person and I really had no complaints. I will tell you if they could clone every single waiter / waitress to be like this they already busy Place would have lines down the street. his service was not just special to us but I could just see him maneuvering all of the tables and such a professional manner being very personable. The manager several times, walked by the table and was making sure all things were good and I’m gonna tell you if she really runs her staff and acknowledges them in the brief interactions that we had I could see the teamwork making the dream work.!!! FLAWLESS & WHITE GLOVE all the way… Thanks so much Alex from all of us. BEST 4/12/24 BDAY!!!! We will definitely see you soon!!!
I wish I could remember the name of our server. She had curly hair and she was super friendly and I loved her service. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was just right. I had a great dinner with my dad, it was a perfect place to catch up with him.
