Food was very good and drinks were great! Service could have been better. Our server Sarah took our drink order and was gone for 15min brought our drinks and said she would be right back. Another 15 min went by and a manager asked us if we had already ordered and took our order. We saw our server 1 time after we were servered our food and then she showed up with the bill. Felt like we were not her priority

Fantastic brunch spot with outdoor seating options on the main drag of Las Olas. Bottomless drink special was very reasonably priced with three options, mimosas, Bellinis, and Aperol Spritz. The drinks came in generously sized glasses and were delicious. Service was excellent and fast despite the brunch rush. Food was also great, especially the eggs Benedict and charcuterie/cheese board. Overall would highly recommend and will return. Forget parking, it doesn’t exist. Take an Uber.

1st time great experience2nd time, I ordered a medium burger. Came out well done. The waitress apologized and promptly got a new burger. Withing 30 seconds of the 2nd burger hitting the table the waitress was right there to make sure it was okay this time. Sadly it was still over cooked she said a manager would come over to talk to us. No manager ever showed up, the waitress came back apologized again for the manager not coming to the table and said the manager just took it off the bill.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Service was horrible. The manager was fantastic and was very helpful. However, our server was horrible. He only came to take our order. The manager got our drinks, someone else brought out the food, and the manager got us refills. I had to find someone to get us a refill after over an hour of waiting. Server was also very awkward towards us, we were here for almost three hours and got one refill the entire time, from the manager.

I visited with my friend and was served by Dan. He was an AMAZING server and gave us a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is exactly what I hoped for.

The service, the food and the atmosphere were great. My wife and I like this place so much so that we ate her twice for lunch. You may want to get her early for lunch and dinner, as they seem to get a little packed during these time or make a reservation. Stop by and give them a chance, you will not be disappointed.

From what I read the restaurant has been there for a long time. Lobster macaroni was super delicious, service could have been a bit more friendlier. The atmosphere & interiors is very average American classic I

For over 20 years Big City Tavern in Fort Lauderdale [on Las Olas Blvd] has maintained its status as a Las Olas icon for good reason! There is truly something for everyone at this classic spot. Our server told us that everything is made in house -- and they mean what they say! You can tell that it's true with one bite -- all bread and pasta are made on site, all steaks are hand trimmed, desserts are made from scratch, daily -- and the proof is in the pudding. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Each bite fresh and flavorful and plated with care. The shrimp in the Coconut Shrimp were massive. The Steak was cooked perfectly. The desserts blew our minds! Shoutout to the Lobster Mac standard which has now elevated to new levels. We had forgotten about Big City and are glad to have revisited -- as their team showed us they are absolutely on fire and not to be forgotten. Can't wait to return and explore the menu some more. Server Shawn and Manager Amy were top notch and BCT is lucky to have them on their team!

I would like to warn guests of the treatment of the employees. General manager and executive chef. Have no consideration of proper behavior towards their employees. Corporate has been told many stories of terrible behavior. And favoritism. However no one listens. The the general.manager verbally abusers all staff. As he favors the convicts and criminals. A manager was fired for calling out of work to take his wife to the hospital for labor.. cooks threaten to fight managers. And still.kepp their jobs. Staff smokes weed out back. And they keep their jobs. Servers go get drunk on their break. And just get sent home and keep their jobs. Terrible terrible treatment here. There is better treatment at a prison. Do not support this restaurant or company.there is so many more terrible stories. To post.soon the truth will be out. Again. As you dine nicely. Think of the terrible treatment. Your servers. Hosts, cooks and management. Are being treated. Employees have been spit on, pushed, cursed at, rushed home after bereavement of their father passing. Not allowed to take time off for funeral, their are so many reports to corporate. You would think they would have made changes by now. Again. The general Manager I terrible. He does not belong managing staff first hand. He belongs buried away in an office. Where he just sees his numbers and computer. Until this man is removed. This company will continue losing thie best employees. Executive chef the same she has been there too long. And honestly. She does not belong as a chef. Kitchen manager at most . Her cooking skills are that of a student. She has no prior management experience. She has made this place the laziest group of cooks i have ever seen. They are all family. Which is a no no. They sleep on refrigerators. They are cousins . Mother and son, You cant manage them becauase they are so used to doing thier own thing. ..... also they keep the bathroom paper Towel toilet paper and hand soaps. In the employees bathroom, which is located in the kitchen and it is gross. The health dept. Has told them and written them up many times. And yet the manager just leaves it all stored in the bathroom. Also. the executive chef forces her team. To change the dates of product in the walk in rather then throw out the old product and make new. To save on the food cost. They just change the labels and dates... racism. favoritism and lack of professionalism is what the general manager and executive chef have to off here.

Been here several times before, always satisfied, but something has changed. Walked into BCT and there are several tables that needed to be cleared. Busboy spending a lot of time chit-chatting with the hostess. Really bad impression of the management that would tolerate this. Now I have to look at all this mess of tables and watch the slowest busboy I've ever seen. One of 4 tables cleaned, plus now a fifth and a couple more I passed on the way to the restroom. Every time a woman walks down the sidewalk, busboy stops and keeps cranking his neck to watch them walk down the street. Spends time reading texts or whatever on his phone, back talking to the hostess. Enough about this employee. The question is where is the management? Food was good but a limited lunchtime menu. Not planning to come back anymore. If I do, it will be because Sean was a very attentive waiter. Stopped by often to make sure we were OK. As I leave, 4 nearby table has been cleared, the one behind me is still waiting. Been here about an hour. Wake up management!
