I was in the Ft.lauderdale airport. I decided to stop at the Bokampers. I always enjoy the food and the staff! Boy, was I disappointed . The bartender was very much in a rush and couldn't be bothered. I asked for a burger well- done he told me I couldn't have it. it could only be Medium well! I said I would like it well done! He said oh well its not going happen, and shrug his shoulders! I was stunned . I been to all the Bokampers and the staff us always pleasant. May your Bartender Jason need a course in customer service. But I will never return to this restaurant again. Your second Bartender Waynesly was very nice. You need more like him!

Just spent $71.00 with tip to dine at this restaurant and our meal consisted of chicken strips, wings, an order of fries and two cokes. I didn't know the bill included an 18% gratuity and I still tipped $12.00 ON TOP of this. Both my wife and I had different flights and I had to leave before she did. She still had fries on her plate and coke in her bottle. So she was just there relaxing before she needed to head to her gate. She was approached by a woman and told she had to leave because our server left a long time ago. Yet there were people behind her on their laptops working and no one else was confronted about their need to leave. She then asked to speak to a manager and was told she needed to spend more to stay. I'm sorry? This restaurant is a seat yourself establishment. I've paid over $70 for freaking chicken strips, wings and cokes and this is how you treat select people? Never again.

I am not one to write reviews, especially negative. However, my experience with Carmen on 4/26 was the worst service I have ever received. I was on vacation, in a great mood and this was ruined immediately. I arrived to the host stand (no host) and waited for several minutes to be sat. Eventually a very kind waitress came over and said "seat yourself, anywhere you like". We made our way over to the booths. I waited for 15 minutes before being greeted. (I was not complaining or upset at this point as I understand server life and have worked in many restaurants.) Carmen then came to our booth. I asked her for two menus. At this point, she basically yelled "You don't have menus because you sat yourself and that is a problem". I explained the waitress told me to sit here. She then said again "No they didn't, and you are a problem". I have NEVER been spoken to like this at any establishment. I want to add the restaurant maybe had 5 tables, and 5 servers. It was not busy nor rush hour. She took our drink and food orders and brought out the food. She never refilled our waters, did not ask if the food was okay (It wasn't and we didn't even have the correct dipping sauce), never brought napkins and I had to find and flag her down for our bill. In an airport where I would imagine staff to be calming and quick, this was most definitely not the case. This added stress to an already very stressful day, and I honestly would have preferred a PB&J from a to-go shop. PLUS THEY ADD 18% GRATUITY. I normally would have no issue with this, but not when my service is horrible. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

This was one of my worst ever experiences at a sports bar. Our waitress did not bring us waters or talk to us for 15 minutes after we sat down, and immediately expected us to order. When we went to order she informed us they wouldn't cook any burgers below medium well even if we asked for something different. The burgers came out a sloppy mess that had just been tossed together and the plate didn't look appetizing as a whole. The burger itself would've been okay if it wasn't medium well, but there was almost none of the bbq sauce that was supposed to be there. She was eating food instead of serving us and we waited 20 minutes after we were done for the check even though we had tried to flag her down. Then there was an automatic gratuity, and she would not allow us to split. Overall a horrible experience and would not recommend this spot to anyone- go anywhere else.

This is an excellent location in the Fort Lauderdale airport directly next to gate F1 and the bar area looks like a great place to hang out. However, my review is on the dining for lunch and the sit down table. I decided to try the award-winning pork sandwich and a Diet Coke. The server was excellent and the restaurant very clean and I was hoping to have a very good experience. The Diet Coke was served in a plastic bottle which was fine by me however, the award-winning pulled pork sandwich was served with mustard flavored barbecue sauce that I did not care for as this is very different from regular bbq sauce. Also the french fries were severely undercooked and soggy that completely lacked taste and I would've greatly preferred McDonald's french fries. However, the big shocker for me was when I went to pay the bill they included a mandatory 18% gratuity tip and a 2.8% fee to process a credit card. Although I probably would have tipped 20% as my server was excellent the fact that I was not told about an 18% mandatory fee was a little offputting, but understand that we have a lot of international travelers here that don't know how to tip. However, the real shocker for me and what really annoyed me was the mandatory 2% credit card fee as I've never seen this at any restaurant and that alone deserves a one star review on yelp.

If you want to go to a place and watch sports, this is the place. Not sure how many TV's they have but it is a lot. The wait staff was attentive. The food came out quickly and was a step up from traditional bar food. It was all prepared well with big portions. The biggest downfall of this place though is that the music is so loud you can't hear each other talk without yelling. We ended up leaving instead of staying and watching some more games because it was so loud.
