I had a lobster ravioli which was delicious and plentiful. My husband had a flavorful grouper dish served over polenta. Restaurant name is no longer Botanic but now La Fuga. Waitress was very sweet. Drinks were fine. Would def. return to this restaurant- nice that we ate poolside. This place will be full in season.

This spot is within the Kimpton hotel in Ft Lauderdale. It wasn't very busy but it picked up. The menu is not large and it is a bit pricey. But very good. I had a beautiful salad and bourbon glazed salmon with grilled zucchini. My companion had a good pasta dish. We shared a terrific key lime creme brûlée.

I went because I was in the area and needed to eat and I had about an hour. It was pouring rain and when I arrived, I thought they were closed because there wasn't anyone in the restaurant. Someone came up and said they were open and took me to a table. I looked through the menu and placed my order. I only ordered a sandwich. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. I was just getting ready to leave when they finally brought my sandwich. By this time, I had very little time left to eat and get back to work. I wolfed it down (it was okay, nothing great) and ate some of the fries (I hadn't ordered them, they apparently came with the sandwich), paid the overpriced bill and left. The food is much more expensive than it should be, the service is entirely too slow and the food is only okay. No reason why I should ever return.

Great service and the food was delicious! I was impressed by everything! Loved having the option of sitting inside or outside by the pool! Can't wait to come back! Visit my ig @eatzwithsweetz for more foodie footage!

Staff was incredible. Very pricey for a limited menu and food was okay at best. My sons pasta looked amazing on the kids menu.

Tucked away just off the beach between Sunrise and Las Olas is where you can find the Kimpton Goodland Hotel. Inside is its recently opened restaurant, Botanic. We've been wanting to try it out for a while. This morning while walking the dogs and dodging an impending rainstorm, we found ourselves in front of it. We walked in and were given the friendliest welcome. The host seated us poolside and told us a little about the history of the building including the pool we were dining beside which was built in 1949! Our waitress said we can call her "Bahama Mama". She was so peppy and upbeat. While we looked over the menu, she came back out with our coffee and a bowl of water for our doggos. Hubby felt his coffee wasn't very good, so I asked Bahama Mama if it was a fresh pot. She cheerfully said she was gonna fix us both a fresh cup. She came back and said she brewed us each an Americano coffee made with espresso and water. One sip, and we both agreed it was absolutely delish! Bahama Mama then told me if I like that, I'd love her latte. Lattes are my love language, so I said bring it on. She asked what kind of milk I like, to which I replied oat milk, and she disappeared. Shortly after, she came back with a beautiful latte she made for me. We drank our coffee and enjoyed the view while waiting for our food to come out. Hubby ordered The Good Omelette (made with chicken sausage, bell peppers, Jack cheese and pico de gallo) with an everything bagel. I got the Avocado Toast with two poached eggs. We enjoyed our meals, but I will say the portion sizes seemed rather modest. Hubby's omelette lacked fluffiness, and did not contain much of the chicken sausage. The prices were on par with what you'd find in the area. Selection was pretty good as well. Overall- tasty eats with great service, view and vibe. I also like that it's off the beaten path and not a beach tourist trap.

The fig & prosciutto was one of the best pizzas I have had recently.

I've been to the restaurant a few times, always enjoy it. The menu and staff have been paired down. The waitress was great, but service was slow, I didn't see another server.

My friend and I were staying at the Goodland for vacation and were lucky enough to have Zsanae as our server for breakfast. She was attentive and friendly and made our breakfast really enjoyable. Excellent server. We came back two more times to see her. Would highly recommend!

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Federico was a very great host. The snapper, desserts and cocktails were all great! Be sure to visit the rooftop pool for a drink.

Went for our friend's birthday, a 7pm reservation on a Tuesday intending to have a drink up on rooftop and dinner downstairs. The rooftop bar closes at 6:00 or 6:30, so that wasn't possible. OK so maybe a cocktail poolside? Nope! That one is closed too! Such a shame, the rooftop has a beautiful view and the poolside bar is so inviting. We were bummed! Dinner service was ok, I know that this is a new restaurant so gave some leeway, but was a little confusing. I felt like we were handed off to a few people. Our “main” server (?) was very sweet but not too knowledgeable about the menu or the wine. The snapper that I ordered was good, flavors were nice and it was not dry. The rice it was served on was not great, it was flavorless and not cooked well. I will try again in the future - they have a great spot and I think there are some kinks to work out. They are Good, but have the potential to be Great.

Made a reservation for Sunday brunch at 11:45. Once we arrived we learned they don't offer brunch and even on Sundays only have breakfast until 11:00 am. This information should be listed on listing.
