while enjoying some happy hour bites at el camino with my cousin, i kept seeing people walk by with ice cream. i was feeling a little lightheaded and needed some sugar, and the sight of the ice cream had me craving kilwins. we paid our tab and walked a couple doors down. upon entering the store, our nostrils were immediately filled with the sweet smell of waffle cones and ice cream. its a joyous scent and gives the feels of childhood nostalgia in the summer. luckily, the line wasnt too long and went by quickly. with so many options, i figured id stick to what i know, so i opted for the butter pecan in a plain sugar cone. i am sure no matter what i picked, it would have been amazing, but i am so glad i did, because it literally gave me life. going from feeling light headed, to being able to walk around and enjoy las olas, ice cream in hand, it was like i never felt faint at all. i will 100% be back, and looking forward to trying a different flavor!

This is a great old school ice cream shop and candy store. Lots of flavors to choose from but what makes the store even more unique is the handmade waffle cones that come pre-dipped with different kinds of chocolate or sprinkles. It get hot in Florida. You need (and deserve) ice cream.

The BEST Kilwins in Florida! It is a smaller location (local family owned), but that doesn't stop them from packing in the delicious homemade fudges, caramel apples, assorted chocolates, and lots of ice cream! I've been to this location tons of times and it never disappoints. The new manager Bob was great help and gave our family excellent customer service. I mentioned my daughter getting married soon and found out that Kilwins caters events! The other lady Dora helped cash us out and she was great too! I'll definitely be coming back again soon. It also always smells delicious when they're making their desserts in the front window the old fashioned style.

We stopped into this little shop while riding bikes through Las Olas. There was a sweet man working behind the counter that helped us. He was very patient with us as we could not decide on all the delicious choices! It was our best friends bachelorette party so he sent us off with some free chocolates. The ice cream was fantastic and creamy as were the chocolate treats. I recommend the chocolate dipped rice krispy treat! ?

Best ice cream in Broward County. The difference is the people are so knowledgeable and friendly. Store has been there for almost 30 years! They make almost everything in store. Fudge, caramel corn, Rice Krispie treats, chocolate dipped Oreos and cookies, chocolate graham crackers, marshmallows, and don’t forget those caramel apples. Oh my God, the caramel apples. Buy an ice cream waffle cone for now and some treats for later.

Los Olas Boulevard is a busy place. Walk around, shop, grab dinner. Make sure to finish of the night right and take the family to this sweet (pun intended) ice cream shop.

We visited Kilwin's on Los Olas Blvd while staying at the Riverside Hotel (which is just down the street). It was VERY busy the night we visited, but that is to be expected. The ice cream is so good and the candy selection at this location was huge. There was a man offering samples of fudge. He was very friendly and generous with letting me try several flavors. I especially like the bags of mini dark chocolate bars. They travel well and allow me to have a little Kilwin's when I arrive home. We will be back in Ft. Lauderdale in December and I have no doubt we will visit Kilwin's again.

Ice cream was good, but not the greatest. Portions are massive. A small should suffice for most people. But hey, freedom! Have whatever size you want.

As an elementary school teacher for 22 years and a mother of a 13 year old child, I know how many children have allergies and need special accommodations for their allergies. It truly amazed me tonight that an ice cream shop in 2022 wouldn’t be more sensitive to and have some type of alternative for someone with an allergy. After waiting in a line for 15 minutes, I mentioned my daughter’s peanut allergy to the workers. The worker AND owner stated that “there was no way they could guarantee that there wouldn’t be nuts in her ice cream.” I said “there’s no options at all?!” and they said no. They were both very insensitive and rude! My daughter was very upset, especially a 13 year old who was really looking forward to dessert on vacation. It was pretty humiliating and embarrassing to my daughter and needless to say, she was very disappointed. We will never go back. There’s no excuse for this rude and insensitive behavior.

My experience at Kilwins was quite distasteful if I must say. The "manager" Kenny I think that's his name has such a attitude. I requested for a certain ice cream as he decided to take my order. Kenny was giving eye rolls and just staring at me like I had two heads or something. Then once he took my order- he hand my change- excuse me, SHOVE it into my hands. From the way I see he treats his employees are also very distasteful. He was talking to them in a rude tone and being sassy. There was one girl who was nice enough to help me and she seems new. Control your manager please. I already decided not to come back because of your "manager" Kenny. Fix it please.
