10/22/22- lunch specials comes w/ soup, chips and salsa . Chips seem to be in house made. I had the Los Taco special. Which is 2 taco. I asked if I could have on hard one soft, no problem. Came with the really good refried beans and rice Also George had a sweet tea and a chicken quesadilla. All tastey .

Great Sunday brunch experience. A unique find. From the customer service, happy hour drinks, and authentic Mayan flavors, an experience we will soon repeat.

Came here for the taco Tuesday - it was a great special but beware it's a mad house. It's gets pretty crazy on a Tuesday they do shots around 8. The tacos are actually realllllly good. We got two rounds. Margs are fantastic too!

This used to be an incredible Mexican restaurant but, like many, has changed due to COVID. On the positive side, the service is exceptional and they make you feel like you are part of the family. On the mediocre, the food is watered down and not very authentic. I have eaten at Mexican restaurants in the Western U.S. and Mexico, and even the tourist places have more punch to their food (flavors and spiciness). Perhaps, it is done for East coast tastes. In addition, the prices have gone up quite a bit (which seems to be true for many restaurants). On the not so good side, the portions are tiny. I had steak fajitas and there were only four small slivers of beef and two tortillas. I know they can do better and hope they will.

Casa Frida started well. We went for taco Tuesday to check it out, owner sat us down and was a sweetheart, we got sombreros and a free shot. Good start, downhill from here. Our waiter was the rudest waiter I have ever encountered. Right from the beginning service was terrible, we waited for everything for ever, and essentially had to beg for attention throughout our whole visit. Busy, I get it. No rush, it's taco Tuesday. My steak salad came cold, when I told the waiter that he answered "it's a salad it should be cold". I said the steak is cold and he unwillingly took it to heat it up. Once he brought it back it was amazing. Tacos were phenomenal too. Waited another 10-15 mins for the check. My bf gave him his card. Waited 10 mins and at this point I got tired of waiting so I went to waiters area and asked for our card back. He said he won't give me the card back because it's not mine (lol what?!) and he will come back soon with it. After another few mins he finally showed. We were kind enough to tip him but I really hope Frida will find nicer more polite waiters.

What a great experience! From the time my wife and I entered to the final moment. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and authentic. I highly recommend the flan and tour from Mexico dish! Thank you so much Victor and Julian for making us feel like we were in mexico!

I absolutely loved the food and the service! It was cozy and well decorated. My server had eight tables at once, and still found the time to take great care of me. As a server myself, I can appreciate her hustle. Keep up the great work!

This review is not only about the phenomenal food at Casa Frida truly the best Mexican Cuisine I have ever tasted outside of Mexico. On Saturday I called Casa Frida and asked if they could take a party of 11 for the same day. Much to my surprise they said yes, my mom was turning, the family and I had all agreed on Dinner for the big day but nobody had made reservations. Not only did they take our party, but looked and found me a Mariachi Band to show up 4 hours after I called them. They allowed the 5 piece band to sing and perform for a solid hour and treated my mom like the queen she is.

The vibe is authentic and nice. The mezcal margarita was watered down and did not taste good. The complimentary tortilla chips where stale. We ordered chicken empanadas and were given pork belly, they are extremely fatty and I was not even able to finish them. The chalonga tacos where dry. The chimichanga was also dry and the rice was over cooked and sticky inside of the chimichanga. The service was poor the server seemed annoyed with us whenever we asked for anything.

Interesting take on the traditional tacos, taquitoes and other Mexican dishes. The corn empanadas were delicious but greasy. The ceviche was very good but there was mango and mostly shrimp rather than fish. The ratio of the fish to shellfish was off but still tasty. Very big amount too.
