Reviews here are very mixed, which is why my wife and I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Upon arriving the place looks gorgeous, romantic, and welcoming. The food did not live up to my expectations. I ordered the Paella special, which I could of lived without. When you order a Paella from a place near water you expect fresh seafood, right? However, I was given all frozen crab, fish, shrimp which I find to be very disappointing. The meat on the seafood was mushy, flavorless, and watery which huge sign of it being defrosted and just mixed in. I understand the portion was huge to cover a $60 price tag, but maybe you're better off doing a smaller portion and using fresh ingredients. I would love for the owner to comment on here and let the public know if I am making a mistake as I see he is very active in commenting on reviews.I enjoy cooking and I understand places want to cut corners but for that price tag you should be doing the right thing for your customers.As far as other things I don't want to get into bashing every little mistake, however a recurrent problem was getting things sent to your table that you did not order. Did not just happen to my table (multiple times), but to almost the entire 5 tables that were there. Which is something I should of noted since many reviews on here mention that its part of their scam.Lastly, I overheard a table behind me complaining that they were charged $30 for calamari (15 rings of calamari in total), and price was quickly changed to $20. Lesson learned, check your recipes.Hopefully the owner responds to this. I would really like to know if they use frozen seafood for a $60 Paella, near water, in Florida. And yes this is the correct restaurant I'm reviewing.

First time visiting this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last. The food was amazing, we ordered the octopus appetizer and I had the paella and my wife the skirt steak. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were very generous. We started with the house Sangria and capped the night off with cheesecake and coffee. We spent almost 3 hours in this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you to the host and our servers for a wonderful evening, and we'll see you soon.

A few months ago I went to this restaurant because I went to visit my friend who lives there. He spoke wonderfully to me about that place, but when there were four of us, the first ones were served sangria and we never ordered it because we didn't drink either and after that they served us and brought us another one too. But since I had already seen the comments, I used intelligence when they brought the bill the bill was too high, but I told the waiter, I'm very sorry, but everyone is going to pay for what Mario ordered, he didn't like it and he almost did his drama, but we never ordered sangria we never ordered tequila So we don't pay, don't be fooled. They serve you alcohol and then charge you according to what is the courtesy of the house; They want to get you drunk so they can charge you later. The food is delicious, but people are very intelligent when it comes to stealing. They rob you with the lights on.

Excellent fresh, authentic Cuban food. The owner and staff could not have been more kind or welcoming. We ordered all of their menu recommendations including cocktails and each was incredible. Can not wait to return. It's a must in terms of dining experience for those in the Fort Lauderdale vicinity.

We ate a snaper and a divine mixed ceviche, truly a surprise!! The fish came with tostones, and rice and beans. The waiters Dunia and Chino had ultra-very friendly attention, we will return because we loved it
This place has THE BEST Cuban food!!! Wow!!! Sangria was yummy and very effective (ha!). The beef empanadas were delicious!!! And the trio of meats (beef, pork, and chicken) with rice and black beans was incredible!! Can’t wait to come back!!

A classic Cuban restaurant with a romantic ambiance. Owners Adolfo and Rocio warmly welcome you to their restaurant. Real cloth table clothes and napkins! Menu is also classic Cuban food. Cubanos' Appetizer Platter for 4 is really large enough for 6 people with a wide assortment of empanadas, taquitos, yuca, plantains, shredded roast pork and more. The main dishes include paella (a special selection), many classic beef, chicken, pork and seafood dishes, many fish and shrimp dishes made with classic Cuban lobster sauce. The noise level is very low so you can easily hear your family and friends. Enjoy!
