The chicken was salty I sent it back and asked what I wanted I ordered a chop salad it was ok They charged me for the salad and not the chicken With the other items we ordered and drinks over $250 and they didn't make the experience right. This was the 3rd time there will not recommend or go back there It was also very cold in there.

celebrated my mom's 86th bday ... always an amazing dinner and time at Dune. Virgil our waiter was so professional and accommodating with changing my moms dish and Marcus the Bartender made me laugh the whole time we sat at the bar. Service, atmosphere and delicious meals is the reason I keep coming back!

I have never had bad service or bad food, however this past Sunday the hostess was beyond rude and condescending, had I not been here before would have walked out. Our server was on point however our crab benedict was cold and did not wow me as other meals have in the past. Took awhile to get drinks and bread. This visit was underwhelming.

Our waiter was nice at first. Then he completely ignored us. We waited for 40 minutes from the apps to our dinner. We were waiting for drink refills etc Our food was ok we did enjoy the appetizers The restaurant was not even busy. Second time we had him this year. Disappointing
Phenomenal Burger with sautéed onions and a truffle aioli. The burger was cooked perfect! The restaurant is set back overlooking a prime stretch of the Ft Lauderdale beach. You'd be hard pressed to find a better spot for a romantic lunch or dinner. My only suggestion is to bring back the stuffed cheese puff/ball pastry. This was offered instead of bread. It was a unique offering that set them apart from all other bread offerings. One of the many reasons, I always enjoy dining at Dune upon visiting Ft Lauderdale.

Very nice we weren't rushed which was nice as we were eating with folks that take a little longer to get through their meal. Music could have been a little lower in the dinning room area as they were also hard at hearing. Food was awesome.

Our reservation was for 3pm on a Sunday. We were running late due to heavy traffic on Ocean Blvd. and called ahead to say so. We were told if we could not get there by 3:15 we could not be served. We arrived at 3:13pm and were taken to our table (we were celebrating my wife's birthday). We ordered from the menu given to us. Our server, Danica, took our order in a timely manner. She returned a few minutes later to tell us we were given to wrong menu (dinner menu) and needed to order from the brunch menu, which we did. The food was good but when I got our bill it came to $189 with tax and tip. This is ridiculous for a BRUNCH!!! We will not be coming back. The value for a limited brunch menu is simply not there!

FOOD: excellent BAR SERVICE: very poor (waited a long time for service; ordered a bottle of wine and took time to get wine, and also glasses for wine; asked for waters twice and never received water) TABLE SERVICE: good (brunch service) NOISE LEVEL: poor (in our opinion, DJ music was too loud for brunch service...and we are not old :-) ;we were seated outdoors, and music was so loud that we found it difficult to have a conversation). Our first time there. We went for brunch on a Sunday at 11:00am. The food was very good and the service as well. Loved the decor as well. Unfortunately they killed the experience with the music so loud, it was hard to keep a conversation from the other side of the table. The music would've been great at night, to amp you up before going out. Not for a brunch at 11:00am. We asked several times for them to lower the volume, and just once they did, and a couple of minutes later the DJ raised it again. I love music! But there are times and places for specific genres. It was unfortunate.
Loved my chopped salad (super fresh and creative!) and the snapper. Others really enjoyed their dinners too bolangnese and 'special" chicken). Nothing left on our plates!
I do not like the table that was assignee because I reserves throughout and I was at the terrace BUT without view and I felt with claustrophobic The restaurant had a lot better table available and I do not know what they offer that one

We have been going to the restaurant for a few years now to celebrate special occasions. Food service and ambience were the main reason. Last few times quality of food has shown a decline. Last night we were celebrating my daughters birthday and though shared w waiter not a candle on a dessert was offered. Not good for a “ top rated” restaurant. We will be looking for another restaurant to celebrate

The ambiance and food were outstanding however the service was lacking what we would have expected given the upscale vibe. Our waiter was very nice and knowledge but the attention to detail in service did not match the beauty of the food. The servers did not know who was getting what dish when it came it. We had direct them as to who was getting what.

This was my first time at Dune and I was shocked to see the dress code of some patrons Shorts, swim trunks, t shirts and crocs and the amount of small children was just not right I thought this place was a luxury dining experience.... Set some standards I will not go back again
