What a great find. Down in Ft Lauderdale for a cruise and looked for dinner close to our hotel. As of April 2024 don't let the exterior renovations put you off. We love Thai food and 84 hit the spot. Place was quiet (sadly) and we could tell everything was made fresh.

Very expensive lunch. Appetizer and meal $32 plus tip. It's Filipino people doing Thai food. Peanut sauce for satay was not very tasty like it is in Thailand. Chicken and cashew nut was ok.

84 Thai Food based on the state road in For Lauderdale offers a mouth watering limited menu of Thai items. The food is prepared fresh and comes in your taste of medium hot or very hot.Their most famous or most sold dishes are Duck based but their noodles, pad thai, dumplings and spring rolls are also nice.Currently hidden behind the construction work but worth visiting if you are in the area.

I went to 84 Thai today after seeing good reviews. The food was very good, however, the service we received was terrible! We were the only Black people in the restaurant. The waitress literally huffed and gave a blank stare whenever we asked for simple things like extra plates, chili sauce and a to-go box. Her attitude might not have been so noticeable if we didn't observe how much friendlier she was with all of the other patrons. I don't go out of my way to look for racial bias when I go out but this place felt very unwelcoming.

Not too bad. I asked for my food to be ? because I was so impressed by the amount of spiciness. It's a somewhat tiny restaurant that obviously serves takeout, but if you go in around the correct hour, like I did, you might just wind up with the place to yourself. The menu is a little sparse, in my opinion. ? Minus 1 ? The beef had the flavor of freezer burn.

Piss is a great little restaurant that is in a plaza under construction and obscuring it from view. I'm sure it's hurting their business, but you get great service on the food is delicious.

Finally came for dinner! I got the same thing, cuz it's just so good (red curry chicken). The portions for dinner are $3 more and much much larger, but they don't have the soup/salad bar. Still a deal though and great service!Apparently this place has been here 18+ years and I can see why!

Lovely! After living in the countryside in the southern zone of Costa Rica for over a year, this Thai food is a welcome escape into ginger, asian, Thai culture. Really enjoyed it. Very lovely and fast service
