Best Sicillian pizza I've had since NY/NJ! Love this place!

Honestly the worst overall quality I have had in years. The staff was not friendly either. I ordered garlic bread, meatballs, and a hawaiian pizza for pick up. The garlic bread tasted and looked EXACTLY like a frozen brand I have bought at the grocery store...pretty sure it was the same except they slapped some cheese on top (extra cost), which made it worse. We got about 5 sad pieces that were burnt, chewy, and visually SUPER UNAPPEALING. The meatballs were in a decent sauce and moist, but oddly not browned at all...very hard to eat. The pizza was pretty bleh. I could tell the pineapple was canned, the ham was oddly rubbery and cubed. The crust was the only part I ate unfortunately. For a $32 order I would've paid $10. Honestly very disappointing.

It was okay. Friendly service. Pizza by the slice was okay.

Great food and good portions. Their penne a la vodka is one of the best in town

Ordered a chef salad for lunch. It was fast, fresh. Good portion. Friendly staff. Clean restroom.

I was rudely denied my business because the place doesn't accept $100 bills or Apple Pay. Also I believe they might be breaking child labor laws, the kid who tried to take my order was no older than 13. Dont waste your time here!

Coming out of CVS and it being lunchtime plus I like trying new places we decided to give this place a try being it was right next door. Entering the 'restaurant' the feel, look and layout were negative and the lack of response from 3 people behind the counter was nil! $32 for a pizza with 3 toppings (and 2 sodas) served in a box with paper plates, plastic forks and only interaction with 'staff' is giving order and picking it up. Only 3 size pizza choices: individual or large with the former too small and the latter too big for just 2 people for lunch or by the slice and the slices in the showcase were very unappetizing! Comparison, for example, with Big Louie's where we paid $21.55 for a medium-sized pizza, 4 slices each, including 5 toppings, plus 2 sodas and full service including dishes, real utensils and glasses plus a $5 tip! Sorry but nothing positive to say about the Empire Pizza Cafe!

This place is so freaking good! We ordered a turkey sub and an Italian sub. I got the turkey sub with the fries. GET THE FRIES. They have a super delicious and have a light seasoning and they are skinny fries. So good! The 6 inch was a great size and filling. Bigger than your regular "subway" sub. They are in a plaza that has a bunch of places that are closed to the public due to pandemic, so we stumbled upon them but I am so glad we did! Definitely worth it!

I've been a long time customer but it looks like if you move to the nw side of Ft. Lauderdale they can't deliver. Which is interesting when I live closer to them now then my previous places. Seems a little off to me

Are used to order all the time. Now they're too lazy to bring it across the street for delivery. The few occasions that they did it was ice cold and look like it was sitting out on the counter for a few hours. They're closed on Sundays and not a very pleasant crowd when you go inside. Their food over the past few years has gone from good to fair. There's much better places in Fort Lauderdale.

I typically go for Doughboys on 17th street. They've always been my go-to pizza joint. However, the folks at Empire have me going to Empire more and more I'm not sure the last time I've gotten from another pizza place. The food is delicious and the service is stellar. Thanks for an enjoyable experience every time!

Oh. My. God. Why did I wait so long to try their pizza? Seriously, it’s the best NY style pizza I’ve had in Broward. ?
