This place is next to some very pricy and fancy places but they share the intercoastal view. It's modest but authentic with friendly staff and patrons. Good food, reasonable prices, good company for even a first timer. A little hard to find but worth it

Flip Flops was a great find. The food was good, the drinks were good ( unless you want wine, then the drinks were ok). There was only one server for the entire room. However she was pleasant and very good. The food was tasty and plentiful.

Went here to get a burger and a drink on the water. Very surprised. Place is very laid back. Nothing fancy but good. Went on a Friday and had burgers and fries and drinks. Drinks were 2/4/1, burger was good. Wings are expensive unless you get the 2/4/1 deal. Daily specials are pretty good deals. Thought drinks might be watered down but they were pretty good. Service was ok and not pushy. Great place to sit back and relax on the water. Parking is a problem but it's a problem for all restaurants in the area.

Flip Flops is one of the very last places on the intracoastal in Fort Lauderdale where you can grab really good yet inexpensive food and drinks, especially on Sunday when they have some great $7 food and $4 drink specials. Recently, part of the dock outside collapsed and that led many to believe Flip Flops closed (permanently). NOT TRUE. It remains open and could use local support to make sure it remains open! Let’s not lose this hidden gem!

service sucked /place is dirty and nasty restrooms smells like piss, when we sat down ,my waitress didn't come back to my table until 20 min later and i specifically told her before ill like to order a bucketbefore we get started, she never came back ,i called her out and her excuse was she had 7 tables in front of me, so why did she seat us then ? i got up and left she had the nerve to say happy newyear as we were leaving ,dont waste your time or money bad service bad staff and obviously poor mangment , if i could give 0 stars i would. this place is a real s*** hole,

First time here. My server, Shahira, from Queens, was great ?. I had Buffalo Chicken Wings and Spicy BBQ wings. Cooked perfectly, very good size Wings.The View is an amazing experience! See my pictures ☺️!I'll be back for Sunday Funday!

I came here several times before Covid and always found it a fun, upbeat and relaxing outdoor bar/restaurant! I loved those Sunday Drag Shows! What could be more fun?! Yes, there are tourists, but we should welcome them and encourage them to spend!!! I am a local from West Broward. This is where I lije to comecto be near the beach & intracoastal. Just feel lucky when I can snag a table along the dock. I will be there tonight after the Broward Art Guild monthly reception (check it out), just a walk away under the bridge. Flip Flops beats that "other" overrated dockside place just north of the bridge! Can't stand them, but I do like Flip Flops!

We loved this waterfront restaurant! Our dog was with us and the server was wonderful, and brought her a bowl of water. The margaritas were cheap ($7) and strong! Delicious Reuben sandwich and fish tacos. We will definitely return!

We stopped here today for lunch and loved the food, location and the fact that it was dog friendly. When we arrived the server immediately came over with a bowl of water for our dog. The margaritas were strong and only $7. My wife had the Reuben and ai had fish tacos. Delicious! We will definitely be returning!
