Gatsbys had the Worst service and food . They serve A1 sauce with their steaks . The service was beyond horrible .And they provide cheap entertainment playing to karaoke tracks claiming it’s LIVE MUSIC. Everything about Gatsbys is about schemes and tricks trying to get people in the doors . Glad to see a legit business go in place of them . Blue steel pizza , they are a better owner with better product and better service . Welcome to the neighborhood Blue steel.

We visited Gatsby's Joint on a Wednesday night to get a feel for the midweek vibe of the location. As we entered we could hear live music being played in the bar area as well as a small lively group of people dancing. We were almost immediately greeted at the door by the host and our server Matheus. We were given the choice of where we would like to sit, table, high top, bar, or dining room. Matheus explained the happy hour menu and deals to us and proceeded to take our drink orders. After going over the well-rounded menu we opted for the Escargot as an appetizer and for the entrees, we ordered the Kale Quinoa with Shrimp and the Skinny Shrimp Scampi. The Escargots were excellently prepared and presented in a porcelain escargot dish, not your usual steel tin. The balance of the garlic, butter, and lemon rind was right on point. The Quinoa Salad was delicious and I cannot say enough about the Skinny Shrimp Scampi. The dressing and sauces were so balanced and delicious. What I especially liked was that the zucchini and squash were not overcooked and mushy as I have had in other establishments. The presentation was truly thought out and was properly executed. One thing that really stuck out for me was the server's attention to "service" detail. At every visit to the table, he took the opportunity to take away used items and to clean the table in a very inconspicuous way. Even while serving the second round of drinks he replaced the bar napkins. #SoFloDining

I booked Gatsby's joint for my sister wedding! I want to thank Steve the owner, he was the best to work with!! He always answered my questions quickly and helped with recommendations since this was a destination wedding for my sister. We had 30 ppl and he shut the restaurant down for us to have a private reception. The food was amazing!! The bride and groom loved the venue!! If you are looking to have a private event this is the place!!

Great comedy night on a Wednesday followed by open mic. Loved the mood lighting and the space was nice. Spinach dip was phenomenal!

I spent the New Year's Eve here. 1.Poor management. 2.Restaurant Understaffed.. 3.Long wait for drinks and meals. The lady behind the bar did not pay attention to me, she was busy talking. I definitely will not recommend it to any of my friends.

I have been to Gatsby's Joint 3 times. The food has been fantastic and the entertainment is even better! I love this place! It is so quaint and fun! The singing is superb!! I highly recommend it!!

So I have 2 kids and not a lot of time for anything else. I decided it would be nice to do a couples thing with my wife. I planned a date night and Gatsby’s Joint delivered. It’s a nice smaller more intimate venue. The live performance was a musical duet and they were amazing. The libations were tasty and the food was terrific. Try the shrimp appetizer (soooo good) and hands down the signature margarita of sorts is a crowd pleaser.

Fantastic experience!!! Mateo, the owner is an interesting individual & has enjoyable conversation. Highly recommend doing happy hour when the place is quite to enjoy a conversation while Mateo whips up drinks. Food is excellent & drink are perfect!!! Mateo has a passion for beer & spirits. I feel like he knows everything regarding beer & liquor. And it shows with his selection of spirits that he has assembled to create incredible adult beverages. He has also done an incredible job with entertainment & decor. I feel it's definitely a great tribute to the speak easy times. We'll done Mateo!!!

The worst Saturday Evening and Service I've ever had.I've had a better service at McDonald's.Waited 40 min to get our food, then the waitress didn’t even bother to ask , not once, if we need anything.Absolutely unacceptable. Food was great, service horrible. And this isn’t the first time it’s happened.We like the place but they need to change the management.
I won't be going back there again! They didn't have all of the wines listed and they only had the most expensive wines available. One of our group of six sent his meal back, two people didn't finish their meals because they weren't good. I ordered a hamburger that was over cooked.

It was a nice little place with pretty good comedians on Wednesday nights. The staff was awful. Nobody greeted us at the door, the first drink came quickly then it took 15 minutes to come back for my food order. 3 other tables came in after me and got food first. Overall over priced for the quality especially with mandatory 20% tip

We went to this place for the first time with another couple. We had the Korean ribs appetizer and bacon covered dates as starters. I got the Big Messy Burger and some lamb chops. The ribs were delicious and were perfectly tender. The dates were tasty. I loved the burger; it was huge and juicy. The lamb chops were also quite good. Our friends got a steak and shrimp pasta and were also quite satisfied. The live music was superb. A funny and talented male pianist and a talented female singer. It is a nice space with people from all ages and backgrounds. The mixed drinks are delicious too. One of my favorite places for a nice meal eith great live music.
