Food and service were outstanding. We were there later on a Monday night, when it wasn't too busy. I've had Korean BBQ before (in NYC) and I thought the food was excellent (kimchi and beef bulgogi my favs). Our server was very attentive, as were other staff, and they changed out our grill constantly (it's really hot so it gets caked with stuff from cooking). I'd go back!

Me and my wife went there for dinner last night, the ambient looked good and the beginning service was ok. Unfortunately the service timing is not bad but terrible since the Manager Johony has no clue what he is doing, he decided the day was going slow and have only two maybe 3 waitress for the entire restaurant which got full of consumers making everyone to wait long period of time not only to get the items ordered but to get any type of refill since this is an "all you can eat place" 2 hours limit to eat? Ha! You meant 2 hours minimum to wait thanks to his lack of management and short staff. Total ripoff and lack of service will never go back to this place and Johony you are a FAILURE JOKE shame on you and the owners of this place for hiring you. See the nasty plates left on the neighbor table for over 30 min.

Came here for the unlimited BBQ!Food: You have around 2 hours to eat, which honestly was more than enough. The food was good for the price point, it wasn't the best KBBQ I've had but still very tasty and a huge variety of options. Highly suggest the beef bulgogi and Yangyum! Also, the Kimchi is great as well. You will get charged for leaving food.Service: The restaurant was initially pretty slow but packed up quick, so at times the food did slow down but special callout to Ed for happily putting in orders of 4-5+ different meats and being a great host. Also to Hanna (Hannah?) for being attentive and even as a GM still doing all types of work - for ex: our burner plate got charred, she passed by, noticed and replaced it for us.Atmosphere: Nothing out of this world, wouldn't come here for the "atmosphere".. The food and service is the best part of Gen and most important in my opinion.

Grossly disappointed overall. Waiter couldn't be bothered to welcome and inform us as first timer Korean eaters regarding all the side dishes, how to cook, how to order. Rattled off some fast memorized pitch and warnings. Clearly hates his job. Gave me attitude after I couldn't understand his mumbling words over the loud restaurant background. Then he paid barely any attention to our 4 person burnt grill midway through which we quickly realized made the grilling meat taste nasty. Noticed they don't pay any attention to food contamination precautions as they expected us to use same scissors to cut cooked meat with raw meat cutting scissors. Disgusting. Thx to the constant flow of steam and smoke from the grill you go home reaking of grease so you gotta wash everything you wore plus shower and wash your hair after a night out. I'll never go back. Be warned!

I’m shocked at the people posting “ best Korean BBQ”…. Forget that this is a chain, that’s fine…. But there is NOTHING best about the quality of meat / side dishes that are being served. Doesn’t compare to any mom and pop shop. Service was good though.

Such an awesome place for lunch and dinner! Service is amazing and very fast! Food is high quality and doesn’t fill you up quickly. Servers aren’t trying to rush you. Really awesome Korean bbq spot. Wish they had more dessert options.
This is my favorite Korean BBQ place, you can eat until there's no room left in you and the food is delicious, our server was very nice in suggesting things from the menu based on what we liked. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely terrible experience, we came in on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and service was steady. Unfortunately, we were treated as one in a million in terms of the other customers at the restaurant. As we sat down, we placed several orders, and only two of maybe seven to eight orders came out. We had multiple servers coming to our table taking our orders, but seems like nothing was ever brought out. To sum it all up, once our appetizers were brought out we were served RAW pork. I spoke to Angel, one of the managers, and he said he would make everything right, he took our orders ONCE, everything was brought out, and then we asked for a sprite.Guess what? The sprite never came. Not surprising there, don't waste your time at this establishment.

We visited Gen on a Tuesday for lunch - I enjoy AYCE earlier in the day so I have time to walk it off and I enjoy an off day as the service is more attentive. It was us and maybe one more table the whole time we were there. The space is clean, modern and sleek. I usually dress and plan hair washing around hot pot/KBBQ because you inevitably leave smelling like your meal but their individual ventilation systems amazingly left me feeling pretty fresh. Our server Tran was sweet and attentive. She checked up on us with great frequency and was helpful in suggesting popular items, beverages and even offering half portion as we worked through our meal. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the sauces, but I should try some of the other ones on the menu my next visit. The cheesy tonkatsu was my favorite appetizer and all the banchan were good. I'm looking toward to my next visit!
