I had fairly low expectations and both the food and service exceeded them. My friend and I shared a salad and a pizza, which was filling enough that we took home leftovers. The staff was really very nice after we engaged them.

We were going to be in Ft Lauderdale and had been here several times. I called to make reservations to find them closed and out of business. It is a shame since it was a cozy upscale restaurant.

This restaurant has fallen and fallen badly. Although it was busy, I don't understand how that is. Read all of the recent bad reviews and each one of them come with the same theme...burnt food, nickel and dime everything, and it is expensive. My friend had to send her chicken sandwich back because it was burnt. The sandwiches were salty and the fries were super salty. How salty? Take a shaker of salt, shake a few times in your hand, lick you hand and now crunch on the salt. A pork sandwich with fries better be to die for with a $23 price tag. And what is an NCA charge??

Im actually shocked the ratings are this high. I came in and got the burger - everything is an up charge even the cheese. Seriously over priced mediocre nothing special it's a shame I want to like this place and I wish it lived up to reviews. I'll stick to tap 42 for my burgers

Really amazing food! They seemed to be short staffed so the meal took a while. Not a unique issue for restaurants at the moment. We sat outside, which was nice. The street is fairly quiet and there's a park across the street. Prices were reasonable for a quality meal. Overall, great experience and would go back.

Hardy Park Bistro is one of my favorite places in Ft Lauderdale. The food and ambiance are excellent. Service is always outstanding. Love the location across from the park. Parking is easy. It's a gem.

Terrible service. Terrible, cold food, automatically tipped 18% without saying a word. The server came once to take our order and we didn't see him again until we had to ask for the check. I was so disappointed since I absolutely love their sister restaurant.

Took my Dad over there to celebrate an early Father's Day. Used to go there pre-COVID and loved their lunch menu. Happy that they are still open and consistent with the food quality. My dad had the chicken schnitzel sandwich, my mom had the snapper sandwich, and I had the HPB burger. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse cake with homemade French vanilla ice cream which was awesome.

The Bistro is under new ownership. The pandemic and local economy haven’t been kind to the restaurant and service industry. But, the appeal of this small neighborhood bistro melts away with the lack of acoustic treatments inside. One cannot have a conversation without shouting (and this even without music in the background). We ordered a house salad, which was delightful with a light dressing that highlighted the savory and sweet flavors and textures of chickpeas, cranberries, cucumber, red onion and greens. We also ordered seafood as main dishes: snapper of the day, and salmon, with accompanying vegetables (broccolini, kale, asparagus) and mashed potatoes. These were so laden with salt that our palettes burned. Practically inedible. We would have returned the dishes but felt bad for the single server: yes, only one server for the entire dining room and porch dining area (the others had called in sick). The service was extraordinary even with the tripled burden, and we did not want to raise a fuss. Thus the two stars overall are for the five star service. But the kitchen needs to drastically cut back on its propensity to salt everything so lavishly. Not likely to return soon.

Third time here and always good food and pleasant service. This time wait staff were overwhelmed; only one waiter for the entire restaurant. She did an amazing job given the circumstances. Airline chicken was overcooked and very dry. Disappointing.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Definitely one of the best in Broward. The ingredients are all fresh and prepared very well. It's a hidden gym that often goes unnoticed but is worth seeking it out. The chef takes pride in his art and it really shows at the table! Great great great place!

High value of three: They went from 5 to a 2. Staff used to pay attention. Looks like cost cutting measures have made them Loose this customer. New management keeps the staff to a bare minimum. One server for lunch bussing too: he couldn't keep up and wine glasses were blowing off unbussed tables till I started laying them over each other. Took 15 minutes after being alerted to get a broom (not my job). Food is still good but portion control was small. $20 for a local fish sandwich all four corners were covered by a small slice of tomato. Nickel and dimed on delivery too: they had "unexpected delays" and unapologetically said it would be another two hours for a delivery order (on a weekday) almost an hour in when called. Asked them to cancel and credit my account, they cancelled and never credited. Are there that week (I guess I really liked their fish sandwich) and denied any promise of refund or knowledge of call (it was still in my phone log). A fan of that sandwich I kept coming back but haven't been for months.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was fresh, gourmet, nicely decorated and everything tasted delicious. The dates bread pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream was so decadent. Service was unparalleled. Place was very nice, organized and clean too. Strongly recommend them.

The fish was OK but nothing special. The airplane chicken was stupid. We waited an hour for our food. I didn't realize this was under new ownership. Waitress was very nice but overwhelmed.

We enjoyed our evening but because it's such a small restaurant it's extremely loud and you can hear everyone else's conversation. All of this said the food and the service for fantastic. We will return, thank you
