My girls and I enjoyed EVERY THING WE ATE! We ordered thinking we would have food leftover but the food was so good we left NO CRUMBS! Such a welcoming, wonderful, family vibe. Thank you to the Dad, Brother, and Sister for being so nice and cooking such good food. Shout out to Mom even though she wasn't there! Can't wait to go back!

This is not your typical Filipino restaurant. it is leaps and bounds better! This is a sit down restaurant where the food is fresh/made to order. The presentation is very good, much like a high end restaurant. The Filipino food is very tasty, the best I have had in a long time. The owner, Jeanette and her husband, Edgar (the cook) are very nice and hospitable people. I Highly recommend this restaurant! We are returning tomorrow to order food to go on our trip back to Orlando.

I am just glad that Chef Edgar (a fmr. Chef de Partie from world renowned cruise ship Holland America Line) opened up a cafè. His passion & love for cooking is now accessible and available for the world to experience and taste his cooking. His willingness to nourish, please, and ensure the enjoyment of the people coming to Isla Pilipinas Cafè; is something you’ll want to come back for more. Like when you are away from home, you’re yearning for a decent home cooked meal. Quality Ingredients + TLC dish just for you; all you could think of, is the quality of a dish that makes a good home cooked meal. So, look no further when you are in Ft. Lauderdale area, when you visit Isla Pilipinas Cafè it’s like you are home. In addition, the price of the menu is very affordable.

After having Filipino food from several places touting authentic cuisine, this restaurant stands head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect service, food, and ambiance. Highly recommend the BBQ and Gulaman!

Our family of three happened to wonder over to this restaurant. We LOVED the food, the atmosphere, and the people. Everyone was sweet and kind! The food was just as amazing as the people running and working at the restaurant. The whole experience blew our mind. We loved the bbq and the traditional Filipino drink! And the purple cake was sweet but subtle. I’d take a plane trip just to visit this place again!

Had the pleasure of enjoying top notch Filipino food and hospitality here at Isla Pilipinas Cafe. Food was freshly made and definitely delicious! We ordered sinigang (pork and veggies sour soup), fried milkfish, lechon kawali (pork), and chicken inasal. Also had flan and halo-halo. Everything was great! Highly encourage people to visit this cafe to support Sir Edgar and his family, and to have a taste of Philippines’ best dishes and service! My family is rooting for you, Sir Edgar! We wish you all the best. We will definitely visit again if we’re in Fort Lauderdale.?
