My husband and I went here for dinner one night. It's a great local steak restaurant with high-quality meat. The atmosphere is really nice. We sat at the bar, the bartender was really knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. We will definitely be back once they reopen!

For me, it's somewhat of a treat to be able to review Jack Jackson's newest restaurant, Jackson's Prime, and to have it being a first Yelp. I've been dining at his various restaurants for years dating back to the Port Everglades located Burt and Jack's he co-owned with the then famous actor Burt Reynolds, and I've found them all to be excellent as I have with this one.

Closed forever. Obviously due to the impact of the coronavirus. Sorry I never had a chance to go.

Service was very good. The steak was excellent, although my own and some of the others' in the group were not cooked to the right point. Salads were excepcional! Side dishes for sharing that are meant for two are big enough for 3 and their desserts are very large too.

Last night was less than amazing to say the least. It was Valentine's Day and my boyfriend and I's 4 year anniversary. For starters the waitress was extremely rude. I believe her name was Jane. She informed us that we could only get Pinot Noir wine glasses if we purchased a 100 dollar or more bottle of wine (sorry that the bottle we ordered was only 70 bucks)... not great customer service... The food took over 50 minutes to receive after we received our appetizer. Once it finally arrived my filet minion and side dish were cold. We didn't bother sending the food back since we waited so long and were starving by this point. I made these reservations 2 months prior to our dinner date and was genuinely looking forward to dining at Jackson's prime for the first time. We won't be going back and we definitely won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone we care about. Ps the food was only mediocre.

Been to this fine establishment many times now. Each time I was blown away by the attentive staff and amazing food. The appetizers included fresh mozzarella with vine tomatoes in a balsamic vinegarette, fresh tomato soup to name a few. The main course for me has to be the fillet minion medium rare and never disappoints. My dirty martini was a great start and you're sure to find something from their wine list to add to your experience. A bit $$$ but we're worth it aren't we. Enjoy

First class service and a wonderful meal. Our party had everything from steak, to fish to goat cheese salad and all were excellent. Definitely steak orienteted but many other awesome dishes.

I truly wish Yelp gave us the ability to give half stars because this would definitely be a 3.5 star experience for me. Was it a bad experience? Not at all... the food was good, but for the cost....I expected far better. I don't mind throwing down a decent amount of money for food, but I hate leaving and feeling like it wasn't worth it. The service was fine. I felt our waitress was a bit cold, but maybe that was just her personality. We started with a bottle of red wine, which we found to be extremely chilled... so much so, the glasses were getting that frosty look. We thought this was odd, but gave it some time to warm up and then it was much better. We tried several appetizers from the Tuna Tartare to the Jumbo Lump Crab and Lobster Cake to the frito misto, etc. All of it was good. For dinner, I decided to splurge and get the $50 stuffed lobster. I was slightly disappointed in this entrée. I thought it would be more stuffed, as it really didn't have a whole lot of "stuffing" to it at all. The lobster meat itself was decent. The claws were very delicious, but the body was a little tough which I believe is really just how most Maine lobsters are. Bottom line, it was not worth the $50 in my opinion. Everybody else in my group ordered steak which they all enjoyed except for my dad who felt like his steak was way overdone. However, he should have said something and sent it back, but since he did not, we really can't complain too much about that. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and the banana pie. While I didn't love the banana pie itself, the crust on that pie was amazing. If I could just have a whole plate of the crust I would. The chocolate cake was very rich and also pretty good. For the 5 of us, our bill was over $500 before tip... again, I am happy to spend good money on excellent food, but I felt like this meal didn't live up to my expectations.
