This is exactly the kind of Mexican you want to be at when you want authentic Mexican food. I had the steak burrito. It was absolutely massive! Friendly service, great value, will definitely be back.

An excellent lunch atmosphere. A friend and I ate a wonderful flan for desserts ?.
The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere was mediocre. Christmas decorations are still up and it's April. No selection of hot sauce. Great options for juices and drinks. Prices are great!Food was okay, nothing out of this world.

A Missed Opportunity for Authenticity at Jalisco I recently visited Jalisco, a local spot renowned for its authentic Mexican cuisine, with high expectations for a comforting and traditional meal. Opting for a chicken burrito to-go, I anticipated a hearty, flavorful experience synonymous with the vibrant essence of Mexican cooking. Upon unwrapping my order, I was surprised to find the burrito's filling notably sparse - limited to boiled chicken, a few slices of tomato, and lettuce. Traditionally, I look forward to the rich combination of rice, beans, and guacamole nestled within the tortilla, marrying the flavors in every bite. However, these were presented as sides, diverging from the classic burrito experience I craved. The chicken, while tender, lacked the seasoning and zest I had hoped for, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and authenticity. While I understand every restaurant has its interpretation of classic dishes, I couldn't help but feel a bit let down by this departure from what I consider the heart and soul of a burrito. Jalisco has always been a place I've looked forward to dining at, given its reputation for authenticity. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive note, perhaps to revisit what makes a dish not only authentic in name but in spirit and flavor. I look forward to giving Jalisco another try in the future, hopeful for a taste of the rich, culinary heritage I know it strives to represent.
