This place is GREAT! The service and hospitality is perhaps the best thing about the establishment! The women who I always see when I come in are kind and pleasant and always jovial! The food is DELICIOUS! I regularly come in for the curry and jerk chicken combination plate! The plantains are some of the BEST, they are made the right way! The cabbage and rice and peas are also delicious! The proportions are HUGE- you will not be hungry afterwards! They also make a Rum Cake that is DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS! Prices are VERY reasonable! This is one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve been to whether in south FL or on the Island itself! Highly recommend!

Just picked up their lunch special for $6.99. Excellent portion size, rice & peas, chicken curry and a side of plantains. Very authentic, no frills but great tasting food and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Disappointing & embarrassing. The location's ideal ( downtown Ft. Laud.), but the exterior & interior of the restaurant's very unattractive. I arrived around 12 noon, wasn't comfortable ordering a meal because of the restaurant's appearance, but did, against my better judgement. Ordered curried chicken with rice & peas, & a side of fried plantain. The chicken had very little flavor, & plantain tasted like warmed up leftovers. I'll not return to this restaurant, as I find it very unattractive & embarrassing. Not a good representation of a Jamaican restaurant. A paint job & proper interior signage would make a huge difference; with some luck, the flavor of the food'll improve.

Super delicious and flavorful! This food was packed full of flavor and it did not disappoint. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful; they were very accommodating of our kids special requests. We ordered: 1.) Oxtails, rice & peas and veggies 2.) Brown stew chicken, white rice and plantains 3.) Stew peas and veggies with white rice -- amazingly delicious (10 stars - a must try) 4.) Combo: Jerk pork & Jerk Chicken -- super amazing moist, juicy, perfect amount of spices and seasoning We are from NJ, and this was the BEST food we have had in this FLL area. Definitely a must try! The portions are definitely shareable, so bring a friend! Unfortunately, we were so delighted by the flavors after the first bite we forgot to take pictures.

It’s a joy to go and dine at the machine the staff is very and welcoming always a joy to enter the door of the restaurant, they make you feel very and has family like atmosphere i enjoy dining there food is also great try it your taste bud will be very satisfied.

The food was not good at all the service was awful and they do not aim to please the customer at all. Customer service has a great deal to do with ratings even if the food is not up to par make sure you all have banging customer service.

This is my go to place for Brown Stew Chicken and Fried Dumplings. Dunking the dumplings in the gravy is like dunking an Oreo in a cold glass of milk...pure heven. It is no frills, but the food makes up for the ambiance. It's a little difficult to find parking during lunch hour. The service is fast and friendly. The homemade lemonade is the perfect drink with any of the lunch combinations.
