Very enjoyable experience. Service was friendly and excellent. Food was great. Music choice was excellent … soft and classy… not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Had the special … rack of lamb, along with watermelon salad and grilled octopus. Overall we prefer it over its predecessor (which we also liked)..

This is one of the best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale for homemade authentic Italian cuisine! Paolo took great care of us and the food was delicious. The tiramisu is a family recipe and a must try! Everything was super fresh and authentic. Would come back here again for sure!

Talk about a hidden gem! This place is absolutely fantastic. My family and I travel to Fort Lauderdale often and we definitely have found our new go-to restaurant. From the food to the service, this place has everything an Italian connoisseur needs in a restaurant.I could talk about this place for hours. It’s a must try. A true, and very rare, hidden gem.A++++++

Average food at best… note to chef focaccia is not pizza dough. I think they need a bit more passion in what they do. Pastas were a bit over sauced and the calamari chewy and over cooked.Service was a bit over attentive and looming.Certainly not close to equal of the predecessor in that location… much better alternatives for Italian food in FT Lauderdale

I stop by the other day, the guy, he Sicilian, very nice guido ! Good nice small selection of wines, perfect for the quite and relax ambiance, seems business is picking up and I'll come back for the casio e pepe, the pasta is wonderful but I loved the veal and the snapper so good, of course the pizza was wonderful and delicious cooked by hand in a brick pizza oven with wood ! Such a nice touch, I been going to Italy since I was a kid, I understand some people are not used to eating fresh like in a small house, but I tell you, this is the place, can't wait to come back and have some vongole ! Mua perfect like you are.oh and for parking not hard, just park in the back or the stores next to it, they quite friendly.Parking: Just park in the furniture store they close around 5 plus the window shopping is nice

It started with me arriving early before my dinner partner, and I decided to sit in my car and wait. Alberto came outside and insisted that I come inside. That was the beginning of what turned out to be a wonderful experience. We were up from Miami to attend a concert nearby and were a little rushed. Everything was good, from the salad to the pastas to the coffee. Atmosphere was great and the service was unbelievable. I will certainly be back, and soon!

Hidden away among furniture stores on Federal Highway (US 1), a standout among the many Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. From starters to salads, pastas to entrees, nothing disappoints and you'll encounter some nice surprises like the freshly fired pizza crust served instead of bread, seafood soup baked in that great crust, rich and satisfying mushroom ravioli with truffle oil, perfectly fried calamari with zucchini straws and an incredibly light and refreshing pineapple dessert, marinated in anise, cuantro and cinnamon. Spend the time to find this place and enjoy their fine food and excellent service.

Tried this wonderful new Italian restaurant for second time. Azzurro Cucina Italiana. On Federal in Fort Lauderdale.Excellent both times we have gone. They have a large wood burning oven in the back that sets the ambience and produces wonderful dishes and pizza. The truffle pizza, black truffles shaved table side for $20, is just outstanding. We had it again tonight along with the melanzane alla parmigiana starter. It was outstanding, a deep red sauce with aged parmigiana, perfectly cooked and presented. The staff was gracious and attentive. All of it was balanced by two glasses of Super Tuscan. We will be back again to work our way through the menu.
