Wednesday I bought 14 bronzinos to cook them Friday for Shabbat , I am a chef and I made it clear to the owner of the fisherie that my customers were very demanding and they wanted ultra fresh fish, the owner say they fresh !!! but bronzino is a delicate fish if you want to keep it for 2 days more freeze the fish today and defrost on Friday. I hadn't thought about why he told me to freeze them but I did! results is that the fish wasn't fresh at all and when i defrosting them the fish was smelling really bad ! that fish was at least 1 week old . i have to run to find another store with kosher fish. stay away that store they don't hesitated to lye just to sale old fish .

What a find! This fish market sells the best quality wild caught fish that I have found in Broward County. I'm thankful that I saw the white and blue flag outside. I was greeted warmly and quickly made friends with the owner. He took the time to tell me what he had fresh. It included flounder, salmon, rainbow trout, sea bass and cod. They were getting sushi grade tuna in an hour, he called me to let me know when it arrived. We stopped back in for the tuna and some trout. I was highly impressed with the quality of the fish and the cleanliness of this shop. I'm going to be a regular customer!
