My wife & I had their vegetable fajitas, and they were great. As soon as we were seated, we were served chips and 3 kinds of salsa. I was particularly impressed with the hottest variety. We are from out of state and are jealous that locals have such a great mexican/Spanish restaurant.

I wanted to try Mexican food, so La bamba was the closest thing. Boy, the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my entire existence. Sloppy service and the server who took my order was rude, the tomato and lettuce they added to the food was not fresh at all. In all , I wouldn’t even serve my dog like this. The look itself was a turn off. I tried tasting the food and looked for the nearest trash can. Waste of money

Have eaten here many times, and will continue to. This place is solid good, but misses great. If you like cheese, there's lots of cheese on everything--. I particularly like the poblano peppers and the shrimp burrito---stuffed with shrimp. The Mexican pizza is very delicious with plenty to take home if you order for an app. Drinks are ok. If there are 2 of you for dinner, plan on spending $100+ if you order a couple of drinks each. Service is adequate and very polite, but you often have to look for the server if you need a refill, or anything else like hot sauce etc. Drinks take some time to arrive at table- even second round. I almost feel badly about my comment about the service because they are super nice- just not very attentive. This is our local go to place, mostly because you never leave hungry. There are often lots of kids - this is a family place, and if noisy children annoy you, take note. If you are looking for a quiet night out, this may not be the place for you, but if you don't mind a busy, sometimes noisy environment this place will fit the bill. Always pretty busy. Get there early.

Cool atmosphere. Ate at the bar. Shrimp fajitas were very good. Came with a lot of the fixings, tortillas and beans and rice. Cooked well. The staff was very friendly. Clean facilities. Good value.
First I have to say this is the third location of La Bamba that I have been in the kitchen for work on systems. These are the cleanest kitchens I have ever seen. The staff has been extremely friendly at all locations.I had lunch after my work was complete. Wonderful flavor in the Papa Burrito. This is the best of Mexican American food. From a family that understands quality, good service, and value.

La Bamba Mexican and Spanish restaurant in Fort Lauderdale is one of the nice Mexican restaurants which offer an authentic cuisine with local produce. Their preparation is fresh and portions are nice.I loved their Mexican coffee and Pollo a la plancha which was a huge portion in the chicken platter.Must visit in Fort Lauderdale

We had a "girls night out" at La Bamba in Fort Lauderdale. Our waiter (Herman) was simply amazing with great customer service. We enjoyed the beautiful ambiance and weather while sipping our tasty margaritas.

There is nothing authentic about this place! I think Chipotle is more authentic than La Bamba. If you want authentic Mexican food try Taqueria Doña Raquel!!! It’s half the price of La Bamba too. I guess La Bamba is catering to the area they’re in with high prices and unauthentic Mexican food, but they could at least call it Mexican American instead of just Mexican. The food is very mid and the prices are high. So many other good authentic Mexican restaurants in the area.
